House Minders is a locally owned cleaning service in Grand Junction, Colorado, founded in 2013 out of a desire to provide better opportunity with living wages and flexible scheduling for hardworking locals. The team cleans residential homes of every size, from the tiny mobile to the sprawling estate, covering everything inside from the ceilings to the floors and from laundry to light fixtures. Move-out and move-in cleaning goes top to bottom through surfaces, walls, touch points, doors, appliances inside and out, cupboards, pantries, and all the corners and crevasses. Commercial crews sanitize, scrub and re-set offices, salons, banks, factories, studios, front-of-house restaurant space and construction clean up as secure and confidential work. Short-term rental owners on VRBO, Airbnb and Evolve get full turnovers with pre-cleaning photos, linens, re-stocking and perishable removal, plus weekly drive-by property checks and guest concierge help. Event clients get pre-party and post-party clean up. Pricing is published by the hour, with residential cleaning at $50 an hour on a two-hour minimum of $108, move-out work at $60 an hour and commercial work at $45 an hour. Most supplies are non-toxic because health and environment matter to the company, and every applicant goes through interview, background and reference checks followed by extensive training. Jess Dial started the company after 20 years in the service industry, and it now has a staff of 25.
