Altitude Carpet Care
Altitude Carpet Care is a residential and commercial carpet cleaner based at 1025 Jade St in Broomfield, cleaning carpet and upholstery since 2008. The company is locally owned and family operated by owner and operator Chris Eisen, who describes it as a small family owned carpet cleaning company based out of Broomfield and puts the focus on customer service, attention to detail and continuing education within the industry. Every job follows an eight step process: pre-inspection to set the plan and flag soil conditions, potential permanent staining and install issues, pre-vacuuming to lift dust, dirt, allergens and pet hair out of the pile, pre-conditioning and pre-spot treatment matched to the specific carpet fiber, pre-agitation with a groomer or rotary machine on heavier soil, extraction and rinse through a truck mounted hot water extraction machine at temperatures up to 235 degrees, a pH balanced neutralizing rinse so minimal to no residue is left behind, specialty post-treatments for any spots that remain, and a post-inspection walkthrough so the customer can check the work. Altitude Carpet Care uses green products that are soap free and odor free, completely biodegradable and free of volatile organic compounds, and uses them whenever possible, with different products reserved for certain soil levels or specialty spots. Upholstery is treated as its own discipline because furniture covers a wider range of fabrics, materials and construction than carpet, so fiber type, color fastness and dimensional stability are identified first and the cleaning tools flush the fabric without soaking the backing or the stuffing inside the cushion, which shortens dry times. Carpet protector can be added during a cleaning appointment to put a barrier between spills and the carpet fiber. Commercial work covers doctor and dentist offices, spas and small office buildings. The company no longer services restaurants because of the late night nature of that work.
