Altitude Carpet Care
Altitude Carpet Care is a residential and commercial carpet cleaner based at 1025 Jade St in Broomfield, cleaning carpet and upholstery since 2008. The company is locally owned and family operated by owner and operator Chris Eisen, who describes it as a small family owned carpet cleaning company based out of Broomfield and puts the focus on customer service, attention to detail and continuing education within the industry. Every job follows an eight step process: pre-inspection to set the plan and flag soil conditions, potential permanent staining and install issues, pre-vacuuming to lift dust, dirt, allergens and pet hair out of the pile, pre-conditioning and pre-spot treatment matched to the specific carpet fiber, pre-agitation with a groomer or rotary machine on heavier soil, extraction and rinse through a truck mounted hot water extraction machine at temperatures up to 235 degrees, a pH balanced neutralizing rinse so minimal to no residue is left behind, specialty post-treatments for any spots that remain, and a post-inspection walkthrough so the customer can check the work. Altitude Carpet Care uses green products that are soap free and odor free, completely biodegradable and free of volatile organic compounds, and uses them whenever possible, with different products reserved for certain soil levels or specialty spots. Upholstery is treated as its own discipline because furniture covers a wider range of fabrics, materials and construction than carpet, so fiber type, color fastness and dimensional stability are identified first and the cleaning tools flush the fabric without soaking the backing or the stuffing inside the cushion, which shortens dry times. Carpet protector can be added during a cleaning appointment to put a barrier between spills and the carpet fiber. Commercial work covers doctor and dentist offices, spas and small office buildings. The company no longer services restaurants because of the late night nature of that work.

FAQs
What does the carpet cleaning process involve?
There are eight steps. Altitude Carpet Care pre-inspects the carpet and sets a plan, pre-vacuums to pull out dust, dirt, allergens and pet hair, pre-conditions and pre-spots with a product formulated for your carpet fiber, pre-agitates with a groomer or rotary machine when the soil level calls for it, extracts and rinses with a truck mounted hot water extraction machine, neutralizes with a pH balanced rinse, applies specialty post-treatments to any remaining spots, and finishes with a post-inspection so you can check the work.
Are the cleaning products safe to be around?
Altitude Carpet Care only uses products that are safe for the crew to be around all the time. The green products offered are both soap free and odor free, completely biodegradable, and have no volatile organic compounds. Certain soil levels or specialty spots may require a different product or detergent, but green products are encouraged and used whenever possible.
Why does the pH balanced rinse matter?
Every carpet cleaned here is pH balanced rinsed so there is minimal to no residue left behind. Residue left in the fibers attracts soil again quickly. Many cleaners overlook or skip this step, either from a lack of knowledge or as a cost-cutting measure, and it is essential for long lasting clean carpet.
Do you clean upholstery as well as carpet?
Yes. Upholstery is handled as a specialized job because furniture has a wider variety of fabrics, materials and construction than carpet, so one cleaning process will not work on every fabric type. The correct fiber type is identified first, with special consideration for color fastness and dimensional stability, and the upholstery tools flush the whole fabric without wetting the backing or the stuffing inside the cushion, which allows for faster dry times.
Can every stain be removed?
No, and the company says so plainly. Not all stains can be completely removed, and anyone claiming otherwise is not being professional or trustworthy. The pre-inspection is used to point out soil conditions and potential permanent staining before work starts, and specialty spotting techniques are applied afterward to anything that survives the main cleaning.
What is carpet protector and do I need it?
New carpet ships with a protector infused into the fibers, so it does not need reapplying until those fibers have worn down. On unprotected carpet the fibers absorb spills and dirt, while protected carpet gives spills a barrier instead. Whether it is worth the added cost depends on your usage: frequent pet accidents, kids spilling food and drinks, or heavy wear. Ask for a carpet protector quote during your next carpet cleaning appointment.
Do you clean commercial spaces?
Yes. Altitude Carpet Care provides commercial cleaning for many types of businesses, from doctor and dentist offices to spas and small office buildings. Restaurants are the exception. Because of the late night nature of that work, the company no longer provides service to restaurants.
How do I book a cleaning?
Call (303) 907-4693 or send the request form on the site. The form asks how many stories the home has, the approximate square footage, whether the home is vacant, whether there are pets, which rooms need cleaning, and whether you want carpet, upholstery, carpet protector or pet treatment, so the visit can be planned before anyone arrives.
