Ex-Static Chiropractic
Ex-Static Chiropractic is a Tallahassee family chiropractic office on Mahan Drive whose team treats people with acute and chronic injuries and gets them back to doing what they love using safe, effective, evidence based chiropractic care and supportive modalities. The practice states that your health is its primary goal, and describes itself as dedicated to the relentless pursuit of exceptional patient care and a family atmosphere that is energetic, uplifting, and fun. Its stated mission is to help the community break free from the constraints of static lifestyles by fostering habits that promote better posture, movement, and wellness. Care begins with a neuromusculoskeletal examination and a full evaluation with a report of your symptoms, problems, and prognoses, and Dr. Callahan will conduct x-rays during your initial visit if they are deemed medically necessary. Adjustments are not guaranteed on the first visit, because some conditions require more time to review exam findings and imaging. The office says its science backed diagnostics and treatments address back pain, neck pain, joint pain, arthritis, sciatica, bulging discs, headaches, jaw pain and clicking, and many other conditions. Alongside adjusting, the practice runs an FDA approved class IV medical laser used for biophotomodulation to reduce inflammation, improve blood flow and nerve health, and speed cellular regeneration, plus contrast therapy, pneumatic compression sleeves, RockTape kinesiology taping, compression massage chair sessions, and massage cupping. The office notes it does not have a Licensed Massage Therapist on staff. Other services include pediatric chiropractic care, well checks with nutrition review and consulting, car crash injury recovery with in-office digital X-rays and precise documentation, medical-legal reporting for court cases and insurance claims, school and sport physicals at $45 each, and Emsella pelvic floor treatment with consultations every Wednesday. Chiropractic care is delivered by Dr. Robert Callahan, D.C., a born and raised Floridian who moved to Tallahassee to take over the ExStatic Chiropractic office in July of 2014, and who chose Florida's Palmer College for his chiropractic education. He is supported by Lakeithia Gordon, a Tallahassee native with a BS in Criminology from Florida State University, and Darlene Banks, the Chiropractic Assistant, who earned her diploma as an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Keiser University. The office accepts all verified forms of insurance and offers various self-pay options, and a brief consultation with Dr. Callahan can be scheduled at no charge.
