Smith Family Chiropractic
Smith Family Chiropractic is a chiropractic health and wellness center at 2447 Millcreek Court, Suite 1 in Tallahassee, Florida, led by Dr. Patrick Smith. The practice offers hands on gentle chiropractic treatment aimed at getting patients out of pain and then restoring and rehabilitating the spine, and its doctors are certified in Chiropractic BioPhysics, a technique that combines biology, physiology, physics, geometry and anatomy to identify the causes of pain, discomfort and lost mobility. Care starts with a consultation and a scientifically based examination of posture, spinal alignment and function, including bi-lateral weight scales, digital posture images and, when the condition calls for it, x-rays taken at the on-premise x-ray facility. From those findings the doctors build a correction plan that may include adjustments, corrective exercise and traction, also called spinal reshaping. The office helps patients with concerns ranging from lower back and neck pain, headaches and migraines to sciatica, scoliosis, disc problems, whiplash and sports injuries, and it cares for children and pregnancy patients as well as adults. Smith Family Chiropractic also runs workshops and outreach for workplaces and churches, and it is accepting new patients.

FAQs
What is Chiropractic BioPhysics?
Chiropractic BioPhysics is an advanced, scientific chiropractic technique that corrects and restores the spine back to alignment. It combines biology, physiology, physics, geometry and anatomy to identify the causes of pain, discomfort, loss of mobility and altered health. The doctors at Smith Family Chiropractic are certified in it.
What happens on my first visit?
You fill out brief forms covering your information and health history, then have a consultation with the case manager and Dr. Smith. The doctor asks questions about your condition, checks your posture on bi-lateral weight scales and takes digital pictures of your posture, and your condition may also call for x-rays. You are then scheduled to return for a comprehensive report of findings, usually within one to two days.
Do you take x-rays in the office?
Yes. Smith Family Chiropractic has an on-premise x-ray facility, and x-rays are used either to rule out more serious conditions or to help develop the most effective wellness plan for you.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. The office is accepting new patients, and new patients can be seen at other times throughout the day outside the posted adjusting hours. Call 850-325-6468 to set up a consultation.
