The Joint Chiropractic - Miramar is a walk-in chiropractic clinic in Monarch Town Center at 12519 Miramar Parkway, on the southeast corner of Miramar Parkway and Flamingo Road, near Publix, Sanitas Medical Center, and Golden Krust. The clinic treats back pain, neck pain, headaches and migraines, sciatica, shoulder and elbow pain, arthritis pain, stiffness, desk and screen strain, and general whole-body discomfort, and it cares for patients at every stage of life, from children and teens through pregnancy and into older adulthood. Care is hands-on and drug-free. The doctors use manual spinal adjustments, extremity adjustments for shoulders, wrists and knees, low-force activator assisted adjustments for patients who need a gentler approach, postural and movement assessments, and practical ergonomic guidance for work and home. No appointment is needed and no referral is required, so patients can walk in during clinic hours, and the clinic stays open until 7 p.m. on weekdays and until 5 p.m. on Saturdays for visits that fall outside a nine to five schedule. Pricing is self-pay and published openly. The clinic does not bill insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid, which removes referrals, preapprovals and claim paperwork from the process, and HSA and FSA debit cards are accepted for Wellness Plans, packages, promotions, and single visits, including eligible care for a spouse or dependents. A first visit is $29 and covers a comprehensive consultation, initial examination, and an adjustment if appropriate. Ongoing care is available as a $55 single visit, as 6, 10, or 20 visit packages, or as a monthly Wellness Plan with up to four visits a month. Every chiropractor at the clinic is a licensed doctor of chiropractic, and the Miramar team includes Dr. Jan Buchholz, D.C. and Dr. Israel Tong, D.C.
