Rocky Mountain Auto Detail is a detail shop at 16795 W 9th Ave in Golden, Colorado, launched in 2022 by owner Jeff Klinkefus. Jeff grew up around cars in Golden, earned his degree at UC Santa Barbara, then came back to the mountains to turn a lifelong passion for spotless vehicles into a business. He and his crew handle premium detailing for cars, motorcycles, boats, and RVs, and the shop states it uses only top tier products and equipment to ensure a professional finish. Work is sold in three packages. Basic Detail is $225 and covers a compressed air blow out, engine bay cleaning, trash removal, all door jambs pressure washed, a deep floor vacuum, door panel, dash and navigation wipe down, glass cleaned inside and out, and an exterior bath. Basic Detail Plus is $275 and adds extra attention on seats for stains that need scrubbing. The Works Detail is $350 and includes that seat work plus wax. Additional work is quoted at $150 per hour and covers pet hair removal, hand mit wash, seat removal, clay bar, Elite Wheel Detail with the wheels off, Rain X application, cabin air filter replacement when the customer provides the filter, buffing and wet sanding, large decal removal, and motorcycle, RV, and boat work.
