Why does pricing vary between vehicles?
Base pricing is set by vehicle size and by how much work the vehicle needs. A base model sedan and a luxury sedan take different amounts of time because more components and gadgets take longer to detail. Interiors vary with kids, pets, spills and cloth or leather seats, and exteriors vary with scratches, hazy headlights and door dings. Trucks come in many shapes and sizes and may require pricing adjustments, with long beds adding $20. Even the model year can place a vehicle in a different category.
Can you clean cloth seats, spills and pet hair?
Yes. The shop prioritizes minimizing water usage in interior cleaning and uses a steam cleaning method that is gentle yet effective on cloth seats. Spills present for more than 24 hours get additional care as needed. Hot water extraction, or shampooing, is available at $55 per row of seats. Pet hair removal is an additional $30 to $75, and kid related messes carry an additional charge of $50 to $100.
What is paintless dent repair and what does it cost?
Paintless dent repair fixes a wide range of damage as long as the paint surface is intact, and it works on both aluminum and steel panels. Listed pricing is $75 for a small door ding only, $150 for a 1 inch dent, $250 for a 2 inch dent and $300 for a 3 inch dent. Aluminum panels, body lines, high strength steel, sharp dents and glue pull work can increase the cost. If you need a detailed professional quote for an insurance company, expect a 90 to 120 minute appointment where the team uses special lighting, circles every dent, marks items needing replacement and takes photos.
How long does a ceramic coating last?
Adam's ceramic paint coating creates a durable barrier that protects against dirt and bonded contaminants while preserving the depth and luster of the paint, and its hydrophobic nature makes water bead and repel. The heavier formulation is thicker than the regular ceramic paint coating and, with proper care, will last nearly a decade. Standard paint protection lasts about 3 months, and the full range of options runs from 3 months to 7 to 10 years.
Do you keep the vehicle overnight for paint protection film?
Yes. To ensure proper installation the shop prefers to keep your vehicle overnight for a next day quality inspection, and your vehicle is parked inside overnight.
