Modern Chiropractic Chicago
Modern Chiropractic Chicago is a chiropractic and natural health care practice at 3019 N Lincoln Ave in Chicago, serving the Lakeview and Lincoln Park neighborhoods and the Chicago LGBTQ community since 2014. The practice is led by Dr. Bradley Backhaus, a chiropractic physician who holds an acupuncture certification from National University of Health Sciences and a Corrective Exercise Specialist certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Services include chiropractic care, acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture, massage therapy, manual therapy, physical therapy, and nutrition counseling, and these are often recommended in combination after a thorough evaluation. Care follows a scientific, evidence-based approach: a detailed history, a physical examination, and patient feedback shape a treatment plan built around each patient's own goals, with the aim of addressing the underlying cause of a condition rather than treating symptoms alone. The office sees patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly, and works with other medical specialists when co-management or referrals are needed. Because the treatments are mechanical therapies, the number of sessions depends on the severity of the condition, and visit frequency is reduced as symptoms improve. The practice states it will never make a patient purchase a large care plan. Complimentary consultations are offered, insurance coverage can be used for visits, and Saturday appointments and late opening hours are available.
