We are Gemstone Wellness, a mental health practice based in the heart of the Chicago Loop and offering secure virtual therapy across Illinois. Founded in 2016 by Dr. Jenny Martin, PsyD, our team of licensed clinicians provides affirming, evidence-based care for individuals and couples. We draw on approaches like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness to help you understand your patterns and build a more grounded relationship with yourself. Our services include individual therapy, couples counseling, sex therapy, trauma therapy, anxiety and depression therapy, sexual and gender identity work, immigration psychological evaluations, adult autism assessment, and polyamorous and kink-affirming counseling. We are explicitly LGBTQ+ affirming and welcome all relationship structures. Our bilingual therapists also offer fully Spanish-language sessions for adolescents and adults. As a women-owned, LGBTQ-owned, and Latino-owned practice, we care about creating a space where you feel seen and safe. We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Aetna PPO, and we provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement with other PPO plans. Sessions are available in person and through our secure virtual platform, with hours that extend into the evening on weekdays and Saturday availability.
