Gibbs Landscape Company began as a residential landscape company in 1964 and works from Smyrna in the Atlanta metro, covering both landscape design/build and ongoing maintenance. Residential clients can choose landscape design and installation, hardscape design and installation, seasonal color, and one of two maintenance programs: a weekly program with mowing, edging, hand pruning, hand weeding, fertilization, turf weed control, aeration and overseeding, leaf removal and irrigation monitoring, or a seasonal program built around deep hand pruning, ground cover control, hand weeding, general landscape cleanup and leaf removal. On the commercial and HOA side the company maintains office parks, homeowner associations, corporate campuses, retail spaces, industrial parks and hospitality properties, with a reporting system that keeps property managers up to date on the condition of the landscape. Gibbs is a winner of over 300 awards from groups including the Metro Atlanta Landscape and Turf Association, the Associated Landscape Contractors of America and the Southeastern Flower Show, and has won the Consumers' Choice Award for twenty-two straight years in a row. The company has a minimum investment of $12,000 for landscape design and installation projects and $12,000 per year for weekly residential maintenance.
