Gabe's Auto Detailing & Ceramic Coating is a window tinting and auto detailing shop on N Howard Street in Philadelphia that has been serving the Philadelphia area for over a decade. Detailing is sold as four packages that build on one another. Bronze covers a car wash with a wax soap upgrade, wheel wells, windows, vacuum, doors and door panels, center console, dashboard, tire shine, force dry and spray wax on the door jambs. Silver adds a seat shampooing, Gold adds extreme detailing where the seats come out for a full detail on everything, and Platinum adds a foam cannon wash with paint sealant applied. An Interior Detailing with Shampooing service covers the inside of the vehicle only. On the tinting side the shop deliberately skips standard dyed film and works in carbon, carbon ceramic and ceramic grades, explaining the differences in clarity, fade resistance and UV heat rejection during an in-shop consultation and film demonstration before any work starts. Patterns are then cut with computerized film cutting software and a plotter using the vehicle's exact specs, and the finished vehicle is walked through with the client before pickup. The shop also installs ceramic coatings, paint sealants, paint protection film in Standard, Full Front, Full Race and Full Vehicle packages, partial and full custom vehicle wraps, and fiber optic starlight headliners controlled by remote or app. Pet hair removal and mobile detailing are available as add ons. Ceramic coating, PPF, wraps and starlight headliner jobs are quoted after a consultation because pricing depends on the vehicle. Interior detailing with shampooing
A full deep cleaning of the interior of the vehicle only, including a deep clean seat shampooing. Priced separately from the exterior detail packages.
Window tinting
Automotive window film in carbon, carbon ceramic and ceramic grades. The shop states it does not offer standard dyed tint. Coverage options include full side and rear windows, full windshield, sun strip, sun roof and moon roof. Patterns are cut with computerized film cutting software and a plotter using the vehicle's exact specs.
Window tint removal
Removal of existing window film, priced per area. Options listed on the price menu cover one door window, the full windshield and the full rearview window.
Ceramic coating
Ceramic coating for a deep level gloss that protects the finish from harsh UV rays, dirt and road grime. Hydrophobic properties mean rain and snow bead up and slide off, which makes washing easier and preserves the high gloss finish. Pricing requires a consultation based on the vehicle's specs.

What does each car detailing package include?
The Bronze Detail Package includes a car wash with wax soap upgrade, wheel wells, windows, vacuum, doors and door panels, center console, dashboard, tire shine, force dry and spray wax on the door jambs. Silver includes everything in Bronze plus a shampooing of the seats. Gold includes everything in Silver plus extreme detailing, where the seats are taken out and a full detail is completed on everything. Platinum includes all of the above plus a foam cannon wash with paint sealant applied.
How much do the detail packages cost?
Bronze starts at $120 for cars (coupes and sedans) and $160 for SUVs and trucks. Silver starts at $220 and $260, Gold starts at $270 and $320, and Platinum starts at $430 and $480. Interior Detailing with Shampooing starts at $180 for cars and $210 for SUVs and trucks and covers the interior of the vehicle only.
What window tint grades do you offer?
Carbon, carbon ceramic and ceramic. Standard dyed tint is not offered because it fades over time. Carbon gives 30 percent more clarity than standard when viewed from inside the vehicle. Carbon ceramic gives 45 percent more clarity, does not fade or discolor, and has 70 percent UV heat rejection. Ceramic has a warranty included, gives 45 percent more clarity and rejects 99 percent of UV sunrays.
How much does window tinting cost?
For full side and rear windows the price menu lists carbon at $380 for cars and $440 for SUVs and trucks, carbon ceramic at $480 and $540, and ceramic at $580 and $640. The menu is for estimate purposes only. Some vehicles may require an additional fee for reasons such as difficulty of installation, vehicle age or oversized glass, so provide the exact year, make and model for an accurate quote.
How do I book an appointment?
Detailing services can be booked online, and window tinting, ceramic coating, paint protection film, vehicle wraps and starlight headliners should be booked by calling or texting 267-252-9593 directly so the job can be quoted for your vehicle. A deposit is required to book. The deposit is non refundable but counts toward the overall price of your service, and the remaining balance is due at the appointment.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations and reschedules need at least 24 hours notice before the scheduled appointment, preferably by calling or texting 267-252-9593. Cancellations with that notice may or may not be rescheduled, at the sole discretion of the business owner. Cancellations without 24 hours notice, and no shows without prior communication, forfeit the deposit as a cancellation fee.
Do you offer mobile detailing?
Yes. Mobile detailing is selected as an add on when booking one of the detailing services. Travel fees start at $40 based on distance and are subject to change. Mobile service also reaches the counties surrounding Philadelphia, including Bucks, Montgomery and Delaware.
