Fielder & Associates
Fielder & Associates, which operates as Fielder Landscapes, is a landscape and specialty company that has been transforming Tallahassee properties into functional outdoor spaces since 1993. The team's experience covers creative landscape design, water-efficient irrigation, drainage solutions, arbor care, outdoor lighting, hardscapes, and water features, and the company works from concept through completion with an emphasis on craftsmanship, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. Residential landscape design is a stated specialty: plants and trees are handpicked for each project, and the design work aims at practical, sustainable layouts rather than appearance alone, solving problems such as additional parking and proper drainage along the way. Garden design starts with a scheduled consultation, where a member of the team visits the home and helps select plants for health, color, and the lowest maintenance. Drainage work covers water control systems, French drains, catch basins, storm drains, below grade drain and pipe systems, and surface drainage, all designed after an assessment of the property. Irrigation systems are laid out only after walking the property to weigh sun exposure, prior watering habits, plumbing connections, and what is already underground. Outdoor living work includes fireplaces, outdoor kitchens, pool decks, retaining walls, pergolas, and decks of all shapes and sizes, while driveway replacement and curbing use a 4,000 psi concrete mix with fiber mesh and welded wire mesh reinforcement. The company tagline is One Team, One Family, and it runs a corporate office on Timberlane Road plus a field office on Bannerman Road.
