FAQs
Do you come to my location?
Yes. AP LUX Detailing currently offers mobile detailing only, coming to your home or place of business anywhere in Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding communities. Whether you have one vehicle or a whole fleet, no job is too big or small.
What detailing packages do you offer?
There are four packages: Express Wash starting at $50, Quick Detail starting at $125, Interior Detail starting at $150 and Full Detail starting at $225. Prices shown are estimates, since actual cost depends on the size and condition of your vehicle. The Express Wash is not available for luxury vehicles.
What is included in an interior detail?
The interior detailing service starts with a thorough vacuum, then carpets are cleaned, the interior is steam cleaned, and the doors, headliner, console, steering wheel, dash area and AC vents are all cleaned. Protectant is applied to fabric and leather.
Can you remove scratches from my vehicle?
Light scratches can be removed by compounding and isolating the surface of the scratched area, and scratches through one or two coats of clear coat can be wet sanded out. If a scratch has gone completely through the clear coat, the vehicle would need to be repainted.
Do you offer ceramic coatings?
Yes. A ceramic coating is more durable and longer lasting than wax, eliminates the need for repeated waxing, makes the surface hydrophobic, and adds resistance to mud, dirt, UV damage, oxidization and rust.
How often should my vehicle be detailed?
For optimal vehicle health, most experts recommend detailing about once a month, though it also depends on the wear and tear your vehicle sees.
What payment methods do you accept?
AP LUX Detailing accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Zelle and cash.
Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Yes. You can reschedule or cancel your appointment 24 hours prior to the date of service by contacting the customer service team.
