True North Motel & Storage

Pending approval I highly recommend staying here. The rooms are clean, pretty spacious and have a homey feel to them. And it definitely helps that the people that work here are amazing. The staff definitely care about the guests, the environment and making it a place you want to come back to. And they definitely work hard to make it a quiet and safe environment. They have restored hope for myself, that there are still cool and genuine people out there, these days that’s hard to find, especially in hospitality.

This place was amazing. We came to town for one night for a concert. And the lady at the desk was so nice and helpful and very accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. There is a GEM of a garden in the back, it had the cutest little frogs in a cool little pond. Tons of cool statues and the most gorgeous flowers. The lady at the desk was out there working hard making it beautiful for us all to enjoy. My only regret as to coming to this place was that we only stood one night. If we come back to springs we definitely will be coming back here. I wish I got the ladies name at the desk because she is the G.O.A.T. She made us out of towers feel at home, and with no vehicle and no knowledge of the town she was very helpful. We appreciate her so much. Read less

We are local and we stayed here for a weekend about a month ago or slightly a little more than that but anyway hesitant on staying here due to location and didn't really want my kids in that environment. Since we needed a kitchen to cook for the kids as buying food 3 times a day for 4 people would just not work. Other places just have stovetops not an oven. Paid a 50 dollar deposit a week after checking out no deposit given back. I called and asked about it, I got told I'm not in the office can I give you a call back i said sure no call back and everytime I tried to call bk the phone went unanswered. I know they have caller ID due to her asking if she calls the number that showed up on the ID. So idk if she was just avoiding me or what but there was absolutely no reason to not get our deposit bk. We cleaned everything I even cleaned the stove wiped that down and the fridge was emptied out of everything dirty towels put on the bed and I also walked the trash to the dumpster. This just seems scammy to me for sure. Why not call me back? Why not get an answer when i would call i finally gave up. THERE WAS NO REASON TO KEEP OUR DEPOSIT AND THEN THE MANAGER DOESN'T EVEN CALL BK LIKE SHE SAID. I KNOW 50 MAY NOT BE ALLOT BUT WHEN YOUR STRUGGLING WITH KIDS EVERY PENNY COUNTS ESPECIALLY WHEN WE HAD TO GET THE ROOM DUE TO AN EMERGENCY AND HAD TO USE RENT MONEY ON THE ROOM OVER 300 FOR THE WEEKEND CRAZY. WE WANT OUR DEPOSIT BACK. HE ISN'T ONE TO SAY ANYTHING BUT ME I WILL AND THIS ISN'T RIGHT. IDK HOW MANY PEOPLE YALL DO THIS CRAP TO BUT I KNOW IF YOU STAY A WEEK OR MORE THEN THE DEPOSIT IS 100 50 FOR LESS THAN A WEEK. THINK IF SHE DID THIS TO EVERY FEW GUESTS WHO DESERVE TO GET THEIR DEPOSIT BACK AND GET NOTHING???? THIS IS NOT OK I'LL BE AWAITING YOUR RESPONSE. OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS GREAT. HOT WATER SUCKED THOUGH AND IF THEY ONLY HAVE 1 HEATER THEY NEED TO UPGRADE BECAUSE I COULDN'T EVEN FILL THE BATH OR TAKE A SHOWER LONGER THAN 2 MINUTES WITHOUT THE WATER BEING COLD!!!!!!!! SEEMS LIKE YALL ARE THIEVES

Please send a text with a number I can send images to if possible I just called and I'm curious because so much strange things are going on but how did you reci3ve a lockout order on that unit from me. And thank you for being so amazing. If you'd like to subtract a small fee for her to get a room for the night on me than finalize the whole situation after that's finished I would really be cool with you holding my stuff in a private area and renting that unit out keeping the balance :) ❤️

Very late review, but wanted to share my experience with this motel. This review is for a time period in 1995. I was in the military at the time and just needed a place for a week or two during my time in the Springs on orders. And Fort Carson didn't have billets available. This motel and another on Nevada Ave would be the only two I would use only that offered weekly rates. With that said. Can't complain about service nor quality of the rooms. You get what you pay for as the saying goes, but it was safe and quiet at that time. Staff was cordial and professional in 1995. I didn't trust the downtown motels as crime was problematic, and bedbugs were also an issue at that time. Only been here maybe two times at best. But, since retiring from the military in 2006 thought about my time in the Springs, and the places I been too as well. Just wanted to share my 2¢ down memory lane.
