FAQs
Do you perform tree pruning or removal?
No. Tree Solutions works as a consulting arborist firm, rendering expert opinions on tree health rather than performing the tree work. Not doing the work keeps assessments impartial and avoids conflicts of interest.
What happens during a site visit?
A standard site visit includes a visual tree assessment, written field notes with recommendations and supporting information. More complex cases can add aerial inspection, root excavation, micro resistance drilling, tomography and soil testing.
Is there a charge for an assessment?
Yes. There is a minimum charge, and the initial estimate varies by location. It covers on site time, research, correspondence and travel, including arborist time on the road and in the field.
Do you treat insects and disease?
Yes. Treatments use minimally invasive and relatively environmentally friendly methods, including trunk injection systems through Arborjet. The firm does not spray.
Can you assess a neighbor's tree?
A basic visual assessment can be made from your property or from public land. A thorough assessment of a neighbor's tree requires written permission from the owner or the owner present on site.
Who do you work with?
Clients include homeowners, developers, municipalities, attorneys, contractors, insurance companies, planners, architects, landscape architects and commercial arborists.
What areas do you serve?
