Neighborhood Arbor Care is a small, local, family-owned and operated tree care company located in Arvada, Colorado. The company describes itself as licensed and insured with over 15 years of experience, and it specializes in tree trimming and pruning, tree removal, stump removal, plant health care, tree planting, storm clean up, and tree cabling and bracing. The work is organized around three areas: caring for trees, protecting them, and removing them when that becomes necessary. On the care side, the team plants trees, trims and prunes to build strong structure and clear homes and power lines, and performs deep root fertilization using a high-quality slow-release fertilizer injected 6 to 8 inches into the ground at 2 to 3 foot spacing throughout the root zone, which the company says feeds the tree or shrub for one year. On the protection side, Neighborhood Arbor Care arborists install a noninvasive, dynamic cabling system to strengthen weak stems and branches so they flex without breaking under wind and snow load, and the company also lists lightning protection. Removal work begins with an on-site inspection where the team assesses the tree and provides recommendations and pricing, and the company states it has years of experience removing large trees in tight spaces, calling difficult jobs and technical rigging its specialty, including crane-assisted removals. Stump grinding follows removal, with a machine that fits through a typical 36 inch gate and stumps ground 8 to 12 inches below grade. The company says it prides itself on great customer service and high-quality work.
