Fir Sure Arbor Pro LLC is a tree care company based at 3430 S Knox Ct in Englewood, Colorado, reachable at (720) 545-4289 Monday through Friday from 8:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon. Founder and owner Jeff Baker opened the doors in 2018 after a path that ran from climbing trees in North Georgia, through an Adventure Education degree at Fort Lewis College in Durango, to building and managing zipline canopy courses in North Carolina and elsewhere, and finally to Portland, Oregon, where he earned his International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist credential and his ISA Tree Worker Specialist certification. The company describes itself as a Limited Liability Company that is fully licensed and insured, and it works with both residential and commercial property owners. The team frames its work as arboriculture rather than tree cutting: removal is treated as a last resort, and where a problem can be solved another way the arborists will suggest pruning, cabling and bracing, or plant health care instead. When a tree does have to come down, the crew selects a combination of progressive climbing techniques, technical rigging, a crane, or another type of lift to fit the site. Trimming and pruning are offered together and are described in industry terms including thinning, reduction, cleaning, structural pruning, and restoration, with the arborist discussing both the short-term goal and how the tree will respond years later. Tree planting covers species selection, locating underground utilities, digging a shallow broad hole, setting the trunk flare at the proper height, mulching, and follow-up care. Cabling and propping add structural support to trees with weak unions, co-dominant stems, cracked branch unions, or heavy leaning limbs, and the site notes that cables should be installed about two thirds of the distance from the weak union to the end of the stem. Stump grinding is offered on a contract basis: Fir Sure Arbor Pro schedules a top rated local Denver company with specialized grinding equipment and takes responsibility for the logistics. Emergency tree work covers storm damage, sick trees, branch failures, and trees that have begun to lean, and a Certified Arborist can also put together a prevention plan. Consultations with a Certified Arborist are free and come with a written quotation.
