How long can I keep the roll-off container?
The typical rental time frame is 10 days, starting the day after your dumpster is delivered. Beyond that there is an additional $15.00 per day rental fee. Under some circumstances a longer rental period can be arranged, so call the office at (303) 659-3333 to discuss options.
What dumpster sizes does Total Disposal offer?
Total Disposal rents 10-yard, 15-yard, 20-yard, 30-yard, and 40-yard roll-off dumpsters. A 10-yard container holds roughly 3 pickup truck loads and a 40-yard container holds roughly 12. There is also a Heavy Box dumpster for dense materials. The office staff can help you pick the right size.
Are there items I cannot put in the dumpster?
Yes. Tires are no longer accepted due to EPA and waste restrictions. Electronics such as televisions, monitors, laptops, and cell phones are prohibited, as are appliances with Freon such as refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioning units. Hazardous materials including motor oil, transmission fluid, gasoline, paint, stain, sealants, asbestos, and pesticides are also prohibited by law and could incur additional fees.
Where do dirt, concrete, and rock go?
Dirt, concrete, rock, sod, flagstone, and landscape timbers cannot go in a standard container because of weight limits. Total Disposal has special Heavy Box dumpsters for these materials. Call (303) 659-3333 to order one.
Can the dumpster sit in my driveway, and do I need a permit?
Most cities allow driveway placement. For brick, flagstone, or stamped concrete driveways the team highly recommends laying a plywood sheet for extra protection. Some cities require a permit for street-side placement, and the office can help you navigate the requirements in your area.
How do I pay for my dumpster rental?
Total Disposal accepts most major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Payment is required at the time of your order to secure a delivery date.
What are your delivery days?
Deliveries run Monday through Saturday, and Saturday service carries no extra charge. Thursday or Friday delivery with Monday pickup is also available if that fits your project better.
