Authority Chiropractic is a neurologically-based chiropractic practice founded in San Antonio in 2017 by Dr. Thor Woerner, who earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker University and holds post-graduate certification in the Torque Release Technique. The practice cares for the whole family, from newborns and pregnant moms to children, athletes, adults, and seniors, and treats back pain, neck pain, sciatica, herniated discs, headaches and migraines, joint pain, and chronic pain. Most adjustments are delivered with the Torque Release Technique, a low-force method that uses a small handheld instrument called the Integrator, so there is no twisting, cracking, or heavy manual force, and manual adjustments are used when they are clinically appropriate. First visits include an in-depth consultation, a nervous system scan, on-site digital X-rays when they are clinically necessary, and a personalized care plan rather than a generic protocol. On-site digital X-rays and a nervous system scan are taken if they are needed, and the team then builds a care plan around your goals and walks you through it before any adjustments happen.
Do you also provide manual adjustments?
Yes. The primary approach is neurologically-based care using the Torque Release Technique, and the doctors also provide manual adjustments when they are clinically appropriate and in the patient's best interest.
