Which ceramic coating packages are available?
There are three: Level 1 Ceramic Coating (3-Year), Level 2 Ceramic Coating (5-Year), and our signature Showroom Ceramic Coating (7-Year). Each coating is hand applied after full paint decontamination and paint correction, and turnaround is 3 to 5 days. Pricing is quoted per vehicle, so contact us for a figure.
What paint protection film packages do you install?
We offer Partial Frontal, Full Frontal, Full Body Clear PPF, and Full Stealth Matte Finish PPF using XPEL film. Partial Frontal covers the front bumper, partial hood, and partial front fenders, while Full Body Clear extends to the roof, doors, rockers, trunk, and lighting.
How long does paint protection film last?
The traditional paint protection film installed by our San Antonio shop commonly lasts from 5 to 7 years. The only reason we recommend removing and replacing a film sooner is if it is severely damaged in a collision or fractured in some way.
How dark can my window tint be in Texas?
In Texas, front side windows on sedans, trucks, and SUVs must allow at least 25% visible light transmission, and the same 25% VLT requirement applies to the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line. Back and rear windows can be any darkness you want. Reflective film is allowed, but no more than 25% reflective compared with the glass itself.
Can a ceramic coating be applied over paint protection film?
Yes, and we do it frequently. We install the paint protection film after decontaminating and correcting the finish, then apply the ceramic coating over the cured film. That adds another layer of defense and doubles up the surface gloss.
