Not the type to leave reviews but I am beyond upset with my experience here. I have addressed maintenance concerns and finally after a month they have finally been taken care of(due to a maintenance guy from another location) but safety concerns for some reason just sit on the back burner. I have brought to managements attention the extreme decline in habitability. The only person that has been accommodating is Matthew over at Skyview. As a military household safety is a big concern for me and my family. Starting with the fact that this "gated" community is not gated and anyone is able to enter. We have addressed our concerns regarding drugs in the premises, the high crime rate (causing police vehicles to be parked out throughout the night), police coming often for open domestic disputes, open distribution of drugs or substances, talk of violence and little to no care of any plan to fix any of it. I sent an email to the entire management team and have moved up the chain in which the only problems that seemed to be addressed were the maintenance concerns but the safety concerns don't seem to raise a concern at all. It saddens me as when I first moved in I had high hopes, nicely renovated, seemed like a nice management team, everything looked well put together but I am not sure where the shift was but over the last few weeks there is a decline that anyone could see. I will say that the team over at Skyview and Matthew and his team alone are extremely helpful and have been nothing but understanding and accommodating in this time. I hope there is an upward climb for Windchase because it is devastating to see the direction it is heading.

I’ll write something short and simple to make sure it gets across :) My place has mold, ceiling leaking when it rains(they claimed it was fixed but i don’t believe it ever was because it STILL leaks when it rains.) when rain was leaking it was leaking through my LIGHT FIXTURE! flooring came up in MULTIPLE spots. When reaching out to the owners. Matthew came up to me and continued to have an attitude with me. Would not rent here ever again. Also, since NONE of the stuff I NEEDED fixed I was able to LEGALLY break my lease, and Matthew continued to tell me I was responsible for all fees. Nobody at capstone EVER replies. Tracie is also absolutely useless when it comes to communication, let her know about how Matthew has been treating me, then guess who reached out? Matthew. The WHOLE entire management is horrific. Stacie and Janet however are the only best thing about the place.

Been here since 2021, loved it initially. New management took over in 2022 and things have went downhill since. They have done lots of new outdoor renovations as of May 2023, to basically cover up all the "interior" issues we deal with. These apartments are falling apart inside and extremely outdated. They also remodeled the laundry room, now we have washing machines that just take your money altogether. Still waiting on a $10 refund from over a month ago. I can't even wash my clothes here on site anymore thanks to the "remodel" I had 4 issues with my AC within one summer, ended up with no AC from October 2022 - January 2023... literally. They racked up all types of fees into the rent that they know were added in the middle of the lease agreement like "valet trash fees" and forcing everywhere to switch to THEIR cable provider and pay their fee. We were literally told if we didn't sign the addendum, we would no longer have internet or cable. I had to explain to them... you can't do that. Lots of issues. Raising rent over DOUBLE what it was a year ago. UNSATISIFIED. Don't be fooled by the renovations you see on the outside, the buildings are falling apart (literally, see photos) and inside is completely outdated.

Well we no longer have an apartment manager and this place goes more and more downhill. Karla got a new job (so happy for her) and instead of hiring someone we are lucky to have someone once a month. Occasionally get a text or email saying someone will be onsite for 3 hours. Useless if you have a job. Pool is constantly green, the community laundry just steals your money w/ no refund, and getting anything taken care of is near impossible. On top of that, the laundry room has roaches, the valet trash is inconsistent at best and horrible at worst. They legit skip pick up for weeks, will go through your trash pulling out what they don't want to take, and make a whole mess. Yet we still have to pay the $35 a month for it!? Ridiculous. ONLY reason y'all get 2 stars instead of 1 is because the maintenance guy, Brian, is great. I cannot wait until my lease is up. Edit: Brian left for a better job (love that for him) and honestly can't wait to get out of this lease. The management we have is Capstone and they are the worst. Disrespectful, lazy, and downright negligent. As a result of their negligence I ended up stung by a wasp and having to go to emergent care for it. They said that it was on me, despite my having put in a work order for the wasps over 2 weeks before the sting. Spoke to a higher up and her response was that I "didn't HAVE to go to an emergent facility" and that I "could've just gone to urgent care" despite my explaining that a registered nurse advised I seek emergency care for my symptoms. The absolute disrepect is insane.

We’ve always payed our rent on time and we get treated terribly here. Needs more work done, needs new window/door sealing and fence keeps falling around apartment complex. Gate never works is open during after hrs and weekends. Has been that way ever since we moved here. Weird people are keep coming into apartment complex that don’t live here. Price is keep increasing without proper notice, as well as new laundry mat swallowing money and never working still haven’t refunded my $18 only able to start one washer while it’s showing it washing but never started ended up washing one load but took my money over and over. Not happy. Update: Car has gotten broken into twice in a month as well as 2 cars were stolen in this complex and other vehicles were broken into. Nobody did anything about it. Broken promises by property manager very rude and disgusting customer service. Definitely will be moving asap!!
