Sunshine Automotive Inc. is a family owned and operated auto body and collision repair center in St. Petersburg, Florida, established in 1973 with over 50 years of collision repair service behind it. Dean and Tina began managing the shop in 2004 and became its primary owners in 2012. The technicians are professionally trained and certified by I-CAR and ASE, and they complete auto body and collision repair work on vehicles of any make, model, age, or size, restoring them to pre-accident condition or better. Sunshine works with all major insurance companies on claims while remaining independent of them, provides estimates you can submit to your insurer, and warranties every repair done in the shop for as long as you own the vehicle, with coverage valid nationwide.

Yes. Every repair completed in the shop is warrantied for life, for as long as you own your vehicle, and the warranty is valid nationwide, so you do not have to return to St. Petersburg for warranty work if you live out of state.
Do you work with insurance companies?
Yes. Sunshine works with all major insurance companies and can provide an estimate for your required repair services to submit to your insurer. The shop is not owned by, partnered with, or dictated by any insurance company.
Do I have to use the body shop my insurer recommends?
No. You are not obligated to use any particular auto body or collision repair shop. You choose the body shop and authorize the repairs.
