Background checks are run on all employees, and the standard rate includes one truck, crew and cargo insurance of household goods.

Is there a minimum charge for a move?
Yes. Stellar Movers charges a two hour minimum on all jobs, and time beyond that is charged to the nearest quarter hour. The rate includes one truck, the crew and cargo insurance of household goods, and the base rate covers up to three floors including basements, with an additional $10 per floor after that.
What payment methods do you accept?
Stellar Movers accepts cash, money orders, cashier's checks, personal checks, certified checks and credit cards. Credit card payments have a 3% processing fee added to the total bill, and payment is due upon completion of services.
Can you move a piano or antiques?
Yes. Stellar Movers handles antiques and will move upright pianos from a first floor to a first floor, or in a bi-level home with no more than five steps up or down. A piano fee applies, so call or email for pricing. Specialty crating is also available for fine art and boutique items that need extra care.
Do you offer storage during a move?
Yes. If you are closing on your home or have to wait a day to move into your new place, Stellar Movers can store your belongings overnight for an additional fee. Short and long-term storage options are also available for customers who need extra space during the transition.
