I'm so glad I found this cleaning service! I had an initial deep clean to begin monthly services. I was amazed at the level of detail. My kitchen and bathrooms are absolutely sparkling, and the whole house smells fresh and clean. The team was respectful of our home and belongings, and they were efficient without rushing through the job. The pricing was fair and transparent with no hidden fees. It's such a relief to come home to a spotless house, and it's been worth every penny. I've already scheduled them for regular cleanings and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, thorough house cleaning services!

FAQs

How do I book a house cleaning service online?
Booking a Seattle house cleaning online takes about three minutes. The instant quote tool asks a few short questions about home size, bedrooms, bathrooms, cleaning type, and frequency, then generates a price estimate immediately. After reviewing the estimate, a date and arrival window are selected, and a card on file confirms the booking. A confirmation email follows with all visit details. For larger homes, post-construction projects, or unusual layouts, calling 206-973-2515 is the fastest path to a custom quote. Get an instant quote or call 206-973-2515 to start.
What areas of Seattle do you service?
Seattle cleaning services are offered throughout the city, the Eastside, and surrounding King, Snohomish, and Pierce county communities. The cleaning company covers a wide range of neighborhoods: Seattle neighborhoods: Queen Anne, Capitol Hill, Ballard, Magnolia, Green Lake, Fremont, Wallingford, Wedgwood, Laurelhurst, Ravenna, Madison Park, West Seattle, Alki, downtown, South Lake Union, Belltown Eastside cities: Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Issaquah, Sammamish, Woodinville, Kenmore, Bothell, Medina Other communities: Shoreline, Edmonds, Lake Forest Park, Burien, Snoqualmie, North Bend For complete coverage by zip code, visit the Seattle service areas page. If a neighborhood is not listed, calling 206-973-2515 confirms current coverage.
What does a regular house cleaning include?
Regular Cleaning is a recurring maintenance service for weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits. It covers routine upkeep of the most-used rooms and surfaces. The home cleaning checklist for a typical visit includes: Kitchen: counters, stovetop, appliance exteriors, sink, microwave inside and out, floors Bathrooms: toilets disinfected, showers and tubs scrubbed, mirrors, counters, floors mopped Bedrooms and living areas: dusting, vacuuming, trash emptied General: light switches, door handles, accessible cobwebs, visible clutter straightened Bed making and sheet changing are not included by default. They can be added during booking as optional services for clients who prefer that hotel-style touch. Also not included by default: inside oven, inside fridge, inside cabinets, baseboards, blinds, interior windows, and a few other detail areas. These are available as optional add-ons at booking for Deep Cleaning, Move-Out Cleaning, and Move-In Cleaning. The add-ons available for your home are shown during quote process.
Should I tidy up before the cleaning professional arrives?
A small amount of tidying helps a lot. Cleaning is not an organizing or decluttering service, and clear, open spaces let the visit focus on cleaning rather than working around personal items. Helpful before the visit: Clear countertops in kitchens and bathrooms Pick up clothing, toys, and personal items from floors Secure or store valuables and important documents Empty the refrigerator if inside fridge cleaning is part of the visit Clear dishes from the sink Close off any rooms that should be skipped Secure or crate pets that aren't comfortable with strangers Confirm entry access and that utilities are on Not necessary: heavy pre-cleaning. Visible dust, surface buildup, and dirty floors are exactly what the cleaning professional is there to handle - and an occasional pillow on the floor, a toy, or a t-shirt is no problem at all. For homes that need help getting back to a clean baseline, an Initial Deep Cleaning is the recommended first visit.
Should counters, floors, and surfaces be cleared of personal items?
Yes, as much as possible. Surfaces are cleaned where they are clear. Personal items are moved minimally during cleaning and are not organized, sorted, or put away, since every household arranges belongings differently. Heavily covered counters, floors, or shelves can only be cleaned around the items on them. The more cleared the space, the more complete the cleaning. Everyday items are expected - an occasional pillow on the floor, a toy, or a t-shirt is no problem at all. However, cleaning is not an organizing or decluttering service: when clothing, toys, and belongings cover large areas of a room, floors and surfaces in those areas can only be partially cleaned, and picking up and sorting belongings is not something that can be done on a client's behalf.
Should the refrigerator be emptied before cleaning?
Yes. Removing and disposing of food is not part of any cleaning service, including the inside fridge add-on, because decisions about what to keep or discard can't be safely made on a client's behalf. For move-out, move-in, and deep cleaning, the refrigerator should be fully emptied before the visit so every shelf, drawer, and surface can be cleaned. If food items remain, surfaces are cleaned around them and results will be limited to the accessible areas.
What about dishes in the sink?
A sink holding dishes can't be scrubbed underneath them, so dishes should be cleared before the visit. For a fully reset kitchen, the dishwashing add-on can be selected at booking: the dishwasher is loaded and started, and remaining dishes are hand-washed and placed on the countertop.
Do utilities need to be on?
Yes. Working electricity, hot water, and reasonable indoor temperature are required for the cleaning to be completed. This matters most for vacant homes before a move-out or move-in cleaning, where utilities are sometimes shut off early. If utilities are off when the team arrives, the visit may need to be rescheduled.
Do I have to stay home during the cleaning?
Cleaning professionals truly appreciate your efforts to make yourself available by showing around your home and answering any home-related questions. Most homeowners who work from home leave to run errands or simply walk in the park to avoid the vacuum noise or be out of the way to give the space to the Cleaner.
Can I leave a key?
Having a copy of the keys is preferred. It allows Cleaning tech for more start time flexibility to access your home, especially when traveling during peak hours or unforeseen road closures or detours. For other options like smart locks, lockboxes, or doorman access, see more entry options.
How many hours will it take to finish the cleaning?
After your project is accepted, we finalize the logistics; you will receive a personalized email with your specific project's hourly estimate. Every cleaning professional works at different speeds.
Can I get a morning or afternoon schedule?
Morning cleaning sessions usually start from 7 am to 9 am. The afternoon cleaning session begins from 12 pm to 1 pm. Usually, cleaning professionals do not accept projects beyond 6 pm.
Do you work during weekends?
Some cleaning professionals accept weekend projects scheduled far in advance for an additional cost.
Can I skip my weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly cleaning?
You can skip your regularly scheduled cleaning by informing 48 hours before the agreed schedule.
Do rescheduling fees apply?
There is no charge for rescheduling as long as it is done before 72 hours of your original booking. To ensure we have availability for your new desired date, immediately let us know once there is a change of plans from your end. See our Policies & Guarantees page for more information on this.
Cancellation and refund policy
Unexpected and short-notice cancellations can be challenging to manage and often result in unfilled appointment slots, leading to significant downtime for the cleaners and negatively impacting their income. To promote fairness and ensure sustainable service, cancellations made within 72 hours of your scheduled booking will incur a full-service fee.
How do I get the cleaning professional into my home if I am not there?
Most clients are not home during cleaning visits. Common entry methods include: Smart lock codes: A temporary or one-time-use code for the cleaning professional, easily added or removed Garage door codes: Sharing the keypad code, with the interior garage door left unlocked during the cleaning window Lockbox: A small lockbox holding a house key, placed near the entrance, with the combination shared securely Doorman or concierge: For condos and apartment buildings, leaving instructions with front desk staff is the simplest approach If the cleaning professional cannot gain entry on the day of service, the team will attempt to reach the client and wait up to 30 minutes. If access still cannot be obtained within that window, a full-service fee applies. See the policies and guarantees page for full details. Hiding a key outside in a common spot like under a mat or in a planter is not recommended for security reasons. Building access details should be shared at booking.
How do I get the cleaning professional into my home if I am not there?
Is parking required for the cleaning visit? Parking is not required, but it is genuinely helpful when a spot is available close to the cleaning project address. Cleaning professionals arrive with supplies and equipment, and convenient parking saves time and effort, especially during longer projects. For homes in Seattle neighborhoods with limited street parking, such as Capitol Hill, Queen Anne, Ballard, or downtown condos, please share parking details during booking. A guest pass, driveway access, or reserved spot all work well. View covered neighborhoods on the Seattle service areas page. If parking cannot be provided by the client, an additional parking surcharge will apply to the booked cleaning to cover public parking fees. Please share parking details with the team during booking.
Do you clean apartments and condos, including in neighborhoods like Capitol Hill?
Yes. Apartment cleaning services in Seattle and the Eastside cover Capitol Hill, South Lake Union, Belltown, Bellevue, Kirkland, and surrounding areas. Apartment Move-Out Cleaning is available as a flat rate service designed to meet landlord and property management standards for lease end handoff. Building access details such as elevator reservations, loading zones, or front desk check in should be shared at the time of booking. The more upfront information, the smoother the visit. View all covered Seattle and Eastside neighborhoods.
Are your prices negotiable?
Suppose we can cluster multiple service appointments in the same neighborhood, yes! Managing transportation and setup time reduces the cost significantly. Please let us know if you have a neighbor interested in the service. Check our service areas to see if your neighborhood is covered, or view the full neighborhood list.
What if my home requires more time?
A complex calculation is involved in estimating costs and time when getting a quote online. Make sure you provide accurate information about the size of your home, including bathroom and bedroom count, number of residents, and pets. We understand that mostly, people often tend to underestimate the cleanliness rating. Just be honest, don't cut corners, and we will serve you well. If a finished basement affects your quote, see finished basement pricing.
I included my finished basement in the square footage. Why is it showing as an additional charge?
Finished basement square footage is not always part of the whole home square footage that is easily verifiable online, which is what the instant quote system relies on for accuracy. Public records often list only above ground living space, so finished basements may not appear in the totals shown on real estate sites or property databases. To avoid surprises during the cleaning session and to make sure every room is cleaned, clients are asked to select whether a finished basement is part of the home. This keeps the Seattle house cleaning quote accurate and ensures the cleaning professional has the right amount of time scheduled for thorough results. For a deeper look at how pricing works, read about how Seattle cleaning costs are calculated or view the Seattle house cleaning pricing guide.
Why do I need to select the level of cleanliness my home is in when I book?
Every project and home is unique. To provide the most accurate cleaning quote, the program uses multitudes of data points in calculations. The "Self Cleaning Rating," allows to estimate better Cleaner qualification and experience needed for the cleaning project and the time it may take to clean. Not to mention a few other calculations that influence the time and costs, such as the house's age, surfaces, etc.
How much to tip for the cleaning professional?
Here are some of the latest House Cleaning tipping trends in the Seattle area. Tips for regularly scheduled cleaning services like weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly range from $10 to $20 per Cleaning. Cleaning projects that are more effort and time-intensive, like deep or Spring Cleaning, are tipping about 20 percent of the total cleaning project cost ($40 to $200). We observed that tipping or small gifts to your cleaning professional goes a long way in job satisfaction, dedication, and simply being noticed and appreciated. To find out much more about tipping your house cleaner visit this article.
What payment methods are accepted?
Major credit and debit cards are the standard payment method, and a card on file is required to confirm the booking. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal are all accepted. Cash and personal checks are not accepted as primary payment, but tips for the cleaning professional may be left in cash if preferred. For more on tipping practices, see the guide to tipping house cleaners. All transactions are securely processed, and detailed receipts are emailed after each visit. For a full breakdown, see the Seattle house cleaning pricing page.
Can I have only specific rooms or areas of my home cleaned?
Yes. Custom Cleaning is built for clients who want to pick exactly which rooms, areas, or tasks are cleaned, rather than booking a full-home service. This works well for: Homes where only kitchens and bathrooms need attention Multi-level homes where one floor is rarely used Households where some areas are already maintained by the owner Standalone tasks: blinds, baseboards, inside the oven, or inside the fridge Pre-event prep when only main living areas need to shine Post-renovation cleanup limited to affected rooms Custom Cleaning is priced based on the scope chosen, so clients only pay for what is requested. See the Custom Cleaning page or request a custom quote.
What is deep cleaning, a.k.a. spring cleaning?
Deep Cleaning is very detailed and covers a wide range of areas in your home. Every room and areas of your home (excluding garages) gets extra scrub. To see how it compares to standard cleaning, or view a sample of the Deep Cleaning or Spring Cleaning checklist, click here.
What is the difference between a standard cleaning and a deep cleaning?
The main difference between standard Seattle house cleaning and deep cleaning services is scope and time. Standard cleaning is routine maintenance: surfaces wiped, floors cleaned, kitchens and bathrooms sanitized. Deep cleaning services in Seattle add detailed attention to baseboards, door frames, light switches, vents, behind accessible furniture, grout scrubbing, and long-term buildup. Deep cleaning typically takes two to three times longer than a standard visit and costs more accordingly. When to choose which: First-time clients are usually recommended a deep clean to set a clean baseline, followed by recurring standard cleanings. Deep cleaning is also popular for seasonal refreshes (often called spring cleaning), pre-event prep, or homes that haven't had professional service in a while. See the Deep Cleaning page or Recurring Maintenance Cleaning page for full checklists.
When (and why) deep cleaning is needed
Deep Cleaning is required every once a year, usually performed in Spring (hence the name "Spring Cleaning"). Before starting the regularly scheduled maintenance cleaning service, it allows your cleaning technician to set the cleanliness benchmark to maintain the home regularly. It enhances quality consistency and saves money in the long run. Deep Cleaning is also used as a complimentary cleaning popular with families that have time to clean their homes by themselves.
'Move Out' and 'Move In' cleaning, explained
For best efficiency and value, residential homes should be unfurnished without personal belongings. Move-Out and Move-in cleaning is intended to return the home someone once lived in to its original state, ready for the next homeowner or tenant. In essence, Move-out and Move-in cleaning are as extensive as Deep Cleaning. For areas that need extra detail, optional paid add-ons can be selected at booking: inside the oven, inside the fridge, inside cabinets, window cleaning, and a few other options. The add-ons available for your home are shown in the quote form.
How to deal with calcium lime or soap scum?
Showers and tubs can accumulate lime, calcium, and soap scum. It will be cleaned as much as a non-toxic cleaning solution, and reasonable scrubbing efforts allow it. Mold and mildew are organic and will grow deep into and behind grout or caulk. To prevent costly repairs of regrouting and re-caulking builders recommend that tile grout and caulking be resealed at least once per year. Green or conventional cleaning products will minimize surface stains but will not eliminate them. Tile installers recommend maintaining your mineral and lime with acid removers twice yearly. Scrubbing with a grout brush around each tile is time-consuming. For homes with extensive tile work in showers and bathrooms, more frequent "deep cleanings" of these areas may be recommended. Contact us for a list of trusted companies specializing in grout resealing, caulking replacement, shower glass mineral build-up, and calcium removal services.
Cleaning of any outside surfaces of the home?
Only the main entrance and patio glass doors are cleaned from the exterior side. For inside glass, see interior window cleaning details.
Is interior window cleaning included?
Window cleaning is a specialized trade. For the best results, including streak-free glass, interior and exterior washing, and tall or hard-to-reach windows, a specialized window cleaning company is the right choice. For homes preparing for a move or a new tenant, scheduling the window specialist first and the house cleaning after gives the best finished result. For lighter needs, interior window cleaning is available as an optional add-on that can be selected at booking with any service type, including Move-in, Move-out, Regular Maintenance, Deep, Post-Remodel, and Custom Cleaning. This add-on is hand spot-cleaning of interior glass, wiped with microfiber cloths and glass cleaner, within standing reach. Window sills and tracks are a separate optional add-on, also selected at booking. Neither replaces professional window washing, and neither covers tall or high windows, skylights, or exterior.
Is wall washing offered?
Light wall spot cleaning, such as removing fingerprints around light switches, doorframes, and high traffic areas, is included as part of Deep Cleaning, Move-Out, and Post-Remodel Cleaning services. Full wall washing is not offered, as this is a specialty cleaning service. Walls vary widely in paint type, finish, and condition, and the wall surface is highly visible, so even a well intentioned wipe down can cause discoloration, streaking, or paint damage if the surface is not suited for it. Before any spot cleaning is performed, the cleaning professional will assess whether a simple wipe down can be done safely without causing more harm than good. For homes that need a true full wall refresh, a specialty wall washing or repainting professional is the better fit.
