Silicon Valley Dental Care is the San Jose practice of Martin R. Hatzke, DDS, INC., offering modern dentistry in a comfortable environment since 1981. Dr. Martin R. Hatzke and Dr. Mario J. Cordero-Pangrazio, known to patients as Dr. Cordero, practice a full scope of general and cosmetic dentistry with expertise ranging from porcelain veneers to dental implants, crowns, and bridges. The office at 5595 Winfield Boulevard, Suite 210 uses CEREC technology for crowns finished in one appointment with no temporary and no return trip, along with digital imaging where exposure time is about 50 percent less than with traditional radiographs. Sedation dentistry and nitrous oxide are available for patients with dental anxiety, and the office is a mercury-free practice. Most PPO insurances are accepted, and if the office is not in network the staff will work with patients to help submit claims. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with Fridays by appointment only.

Who are the dentists?
Dr. Martin R. Hatzke, DDS, and Dr. Mario J. Cordero-Pangrazio, DMD, who patients know as Dr. Cordero. Both practice a full scope of general and cosmetic dentistry.
Can I get a crown in a single visit?
Yes. With CEREC, an optical impression is taken, the restoration is designed on the computer and milled in the office, then polished and bonded the same day. No temporary crown or return trip is necessary.
What are your office hours?
The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Fridays are by appointment only, and the office is closed Saturday and Sunday.
Do you accept my dental insurance?
Most PPO insurances are accepted. With HMO plans, patients are asked to meet the assigned doctor. If the office is not in network, the staff will work with you to help submit claims to the insurance company. Medicare and Medicaid are not accepted.
I get anxious at the dentist. What options do I have?
Patients with high levels of anxiety may be candidates for sedation dentistry. Nitrous oxide is also offered, a gaseous sedation that begins working in less than 20 seconds and helps minimize gagging. Medical history is reviewed before any sedation is administered.
Do you place mercury fillings?
No. Silicon Valley Dental Care is a mercury-free practice, although many patients still have silver and mercury fillings placed elsewhere in years past.
Is Spanish spoken at the office?
Yes. Dr. Cordero-Pangrazio is fluent in Spanish.
