Seven Moving is a full service moving company operating in Massachusetts and New England, established in 2011 and offering competitive rates for residential, office and commercial, and long-distance moves. Each move is planned and coordinated according to individual needs, and the company's stated top priority is delivering efficient and worry free moving at an affordable price. Alongside standard moving, the crew handles packing and unpacking, packing material supplies, loading and unloading of trucks, PODs and mobile storage, hoisting through a window or balcony, furniture disassembly and reassembly, wrapping and unwrapping, overnight, short-term and long-term storage, and upright, electrical and small piano moves. Rates start at $129 per hour for two movers with an 18ft truck, $159 per hour for three movers with a 21ft truck and $199 per hour for four movers with a 21ft truck, with a $10 per hour weekday discount subject to availability. Pricing is hourly and prorated by 15 minutes, with a two hour labor minimum plus fixed travel time. Payment is accepted by cash, credit card or Zelle.

How is my price calculated?
Your price is based on an hourly rate, prorated by 15 minutes. The total cost is labor time, meaning the amount of time from arriving until the job is done, plus travel time, which is fixed and not affected by traffic. Two hours is the minimum for the job, plus the travel time.
What is travel time?
Travel time is a charge to commute from Seven Moving's base to your origin location and back from your final location. Twenty minutes is the minimum amount of travel time calculated for a one-way trip, and it is fixed, so if the truck is delayed by traffic the additional time is not added to the bill. Travel between the origin and the destination counts as labor time.
What types of payment do you accept?
Seven Moving accepts cash, credit card or Zelle only, and does not accept personal or bank checks at this time. You can pay after the move is completed. Credit and debit card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee, Zelle carries no fees, and cash payments receive a 5% discount on the cash amount. You can also split the bill between different payment methods.
Do you require a deposit?
Usually no deposit is needed to schedule your move. During Summer months, Seven Moving charges a $90 non-refundable deposit.
How many movers should I book?
The smallest crew is 2 movers, the most common option for a small move, studio or single-person 1-bedroom apartment. A 3 mover crew is mostly used for 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom apartment moves, and for big house moves Seven Moving recommends a 4 mover crew.
When is the cheapest time of the week to move?
The cheapest rate is available during weekdays from Monday through Thursday, in the afternoon or evening arriving window. A $10 per hour weekday discount is also available, subject to availability.
Can you help with just loading or unloading?
Yes. Seven Moving can help you load or unload your truck, trailer, POD or mobile storage. Two hours is a minimum for the job, plus the travel time.
Do you supply packing materials?
Yes. Seven Moving provides packing and unpacking service and can bring all materials on the day of the move, including boxes, cartons, wraps and pads. Moving blankets are free of charge.
