We had an old faucet that wouldn't quit dripping water so we called Roto-Rooter for a free estimate. The technician Curtis 0653 came out and gave us an estimate, the pricing was very competitive so we decided to have the work done. Curtis was very professional and did a great job well done.

FAQs

What drain cleaning services do you offer?
We provide residential and commercial drain cleaning for bathroom sinks, showers, bathtubs, laundry drains, kitchen sink drains, storm drains, toilet drains, floor drains, and main sewer lines. Roto-Rooter can unclog and clean all types of plumbing drains.
How long does drain cleaning take?
Simple jobs, like sink or bathtub drain cleaning, typically take less than an hour. Larger branch line or main sewer jobs and complex pipe blockages can take several hours to a full day.
How much does Roto-Rooter charge for drain cleaning?
Roto-Rooter’s pricing for drain cleaning varies based on factors such as the type of drain, the type of clog, the job size, and the necessary services and equipment required to resolve the issue, including mechanical snaking, or hydrojetting equipment, and, if necessary, a video pipe inspection camera snake.
Do you offer emergency drain cleaning?
Absolutely! Roto-Rooter provides emergency drain cleaning services 365 days a year, seven days a week.
How do I find drain cleaning near me?
Check the Roto-Rooter Locations page to find local drain cleaning services.
What is the most common commercial plumbing problem?
The most common commercial plumbing problems usually involve clogged drains. These might be restaurant kitchen sink clogs, floor drain clogs, toilet clogs or even main sewer clogs.
Will Roto-Rooter provide services to my business?
Yes, Roto-Rooter provides commercial and industrial plumbing services as well as residential. No job is too big or too small.
What determines whether or not I need commercial plumbing?
The size and type of business usually dictates whether commercial grade plumbing is required for your space. For example, a busy restaurant or movie theater would be best served by having powerful flushometer style toilets and urinals in their public restrooms because they are more resistant to clogging. Similarly, restaurant kitchen require larger, commercial sinks in order to meet plumbing codes. Follow your state and municipal plumbing codes before opening a business to the public. The code will guide you on the types of fixtures that are required.
What is the difference between commercial and residential plumbing?
There are many similarities between residential and commercial plumbing, but also many differences. For instance, many commercial bathrooms feature urinals and flushometer toilets instead of residential style toilets with a water tank. Additionally, commercial-grade water heaters tend to be larger and more robust than their residential counterparts.
Why should I test my water?
Many homeowners assume municipal tap water is already the quality they want. Unfortunately, that's not a given. The best way to determine the quality of your water and discover which water treatment systems may benefit your home and family is to have a free home water quality test conducted by your local Roto-Rooter expert.
What symptoms indicate I should test my water?
Different water quality concerns present with different symptoms. If you are experiencing any of the symptoms below, or have any concerns about the safety of your water, we recommend scheduling a free home water quality test: Chlorine taste & odor Mineral build-up on fixtures Reduced flow & pressure Poor appliance performance Spotty & filmy glassware/dishes Cloudy, murky water
Does Roto-Rooter install other water treatment systems, or only the products you offer?
Roto-Rooter is happy to install a water treatment system purchased from another retailer! However, we don't recommend purchasing your own water treatment system without first consulting a qualified water quality specialist like Roto-Rooter. Your home's water treatment needs will depend on several factors including water hardness, number of people in the home, and water consumption. Your Roto-Rooter expert can help determine the best solution to meet your family's needs.
What's the difference between water softening and water filtration? Do I need both?
Water softeners and water filtration systems are very different. Softeners address hardness by reducing the levels of dissolved calcium and magnesium found in your home’s water. However, if your water is unsafe to drink prior to softening, it will still be unsafe once softened. A water filtration system can reduce these potentially harmful contaminants and ensure clean, safe water for you and your family. However, it will do nothing to address the formation of scale. Whether or not you need both systems will depend on the results of your free home water quality test and your personal water quality concerns.
