Rock's Moving Company
Rock's Moving Company is a veteran-owned moving and packing company at 5530 Haines Rd N in St. Petersburg, Florida, serving Pinellas and Hillsborough counties as a blanket wrap carrier. The company was established in 1998 and sums up its approach as Rock Solid Men, Rock Solid Service. Crews handle local moves across the Tampa Bay area and will move a household anywhere in Florida as long as one end of the move is in the Tampa Bay area. Beyond standard household moves, Rock's takes on office and commercial relocations, boutique fitness and wellness studios, schools and public institutions, retail and medical offices, and white-glove luxury moves that begin with a site survey and a dedicated point of contact. Packing is an optional add-on billed at a fixed hourly packing rate, with boxes supplied and movers trained to pack small items into cartons. Four wardrobe boxes come free with any packing service, and additional wardrobes are $5 each whether or not they are used. Rock's offers full replacement value insurance at no extra cost rather than the cents per pound coverage it says most companies carry, carries workers compensation, and publishes both its insurance certificate and its terms and conditions on the site for customers to read ahead of move day. Moving rates start at $195 an hour, a 2.9 percent surcharge applies to credit card payments, and estimates are free by phone at (727) 579-0214, through the quote form on the site, or with a free in-home walkthrough. The company recommends booking a few weeks ahead because the schedule fills quickly toward the end of the month.
