Roadrunner Moving
Roadrunner Moving is a Philadelphia-based moving company whose team brings over 10 years of experience as local movers and long-distance transportation professionals. The crew handles apartment changes, moves from the city out to the suburbs, office and business relocations, loading and unloading for customers driving their own truck, and cross-country moves, along with smaller in-home jobs like clearing a room or rearranging furniture. Licensed and insured for local and national moves, the team makes safety, efficiency, and precision a priority on furniture, bedding, electronics, musical instruments, antiques, and oversized items. Local rates run $177 per hour for a dwelling up to two floors, with a two-hour minimum plus travel time, and local moves need no deposit. Every estimate request gets a response within one business day.

FAQs
What are your rates, and is there a minimum charge for small moves?
Our rates are $177 per hour for any dwelling up to two floors. Each additional floor adds $10 per hour to the rate. We charge a two-hour minimum plus travel time to get to you and back to our location, and we offer discounted rates for small moves.
Do I need to pay a deposit to secure my move?
You will not need to pay a deposit for local or surrounding city moves, such as a move to New York City or Washington DC. Long distance moves require a 50 percent deposit.
What areas do you serve?
Roadrunner Moving is based in Philadelphia and handles local and cross-county moves across the surrounding suburbs, including Bucks County, Delaware County, and Montgomery County in Pennsylvania, plus Burlington County, Camden County, and Gloucester County in New Jersey. Long distance and out of state moves are also available.
Do you move pianos?
We move upright pianos only, at the crew's discretion, for an additional fee of $180. They can only be moved from a first floor to another first floor. Grand pianos are not moved.
How should I pack my things before the crew arrives?
Please pack as many things into boxes as possible, with heavier items in smaller boxes. Softer items like pillows, blankets, and bedding may go into trash bags, and small plants can be grouped in an open-top box. All furniture must be emptied of its contents first, and every mattress needs a mattress bag, which the crew will put on for you.
How do I book a move?
The best way to book a move is to use the estimate form on the Roadrunner Moving website. We respond to every estimate within one business day, so check your spam folder if you are waiting on a quote and have not received it.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment is collected at the end of every move. We accept cash and all major credit cards, and credit card payments are subject to a 4 percent processing fee.
Is there a cancellation or rescheduling fee?
We have a cancellation fee of $200. There is no rescheduling fee, as long as the change is made within 48 hours of the move.
