Do you charge to come out and give an estimate?
No. ProActiv Prevention does not charge to come out to give estimates. A technician comes out if you request one, or if the technician advises an onsite visit because of the type of job. If a proper estimate cannot be given from pictures, the company will advise sending a technician out for an onsite estimate.
Is there a guarantee on the work?
Yes. There is a 90-day guarantee on work performed. If you are interested in a longer guarantee on work performed, ProActiv Prevention points clients to its Preventative Maintenance Plan.
Can the estimate change once work starts?
Only if the scope of work changes. The company's goal is to never exceed the estimate price, but if the scope changes or something unforeseen comes up, the estimate may change. Technicians will then help work through solutions to try to stay within your budget.
How does ProActiv Prevention price a job?
Jobs are priced by skilled experienced technicians who take into account all of the variables involved. The stated goal is an upfront estimate that helps you stay on budget with little to no surprises and no hidden cost or fees.
What happens before a technician arrives at my home?
You receive a text message two days before the appointment with the name of the technician, and the technician texts again when they are on their way. On arrival the technician will ask whether you would like them to take off their shoes or leave them on.
What kind of maintenance work do you cover?
The preventative maintenance checklist covers items such as HVAC filter changes, dryer vent and hose inspection, smoke and CO2 detector installs, garage door inspection and lube, drywall repairs, paint touch ups, appliance installations, leak repairs, water heater installations, toilet repairs and installs, sump pump inspection and repairs, and inspection of outlets, switches, and panels.
Do you work with HOAs and commercial properties?
Yes. ProActiv Prevention runs preventative maintenance programs for HOAs and will set up a residential or commercial maintenance contract. Clients include homeowners, HOA managers, apartment building managers, and commercial property managers.
