Ox Strong Moving
Ox Strong Moving is a Gainesville moving company started in 2019 by a group of University of Florida students. Founder Zach Kielbasa was a business major who kept helping friends move in and out every semester, and after watching classmates hand their belongings to strangers he built a company around the idea that nobody should have to. The crew handles local moving, residential moving, commercial and office relocation, student moving, long distance moving, and packing and unpacking. The company classifies any move of 150 miles or more as long distance. Packers arrive with sturdy boxes, tape, markers, bubble wrap, packing paper, shrink wrap, foam peanuts, and blankets, and they will pack an entire home or only the rooms you ask for. Fragile china, oversized furniture, and pianos are handled by the same trained team, and appliances are disconnected before the move and reconnected at the new place. Student work covers dorm rooms, student halls, off campus apartments, and trips home between semesters, with secure storage available between semesters or over the summer. Every packing customer is assigned a dedicated moving manager, complimentary protective furniture pads are provided on moving day, and the company is licensed and insured. Estimates are free and the team is available seven days a week.

The crew handles local moving, residential moving, commercial and office moving, student moving, long distance moving, and packing and unpacking. Loading and unloading are part of the job, and secure storage is available for students who need it between semesters or over the summer.
Is Ox Strong Moving licensed and insured?
Yes. The company describes itself as fully licensed and insured, and in the rare event that damage occurs to your possessions it is covered by the company insurance plan.
How do I get a price for my move?
Estimates are free. Call (352) 665-7784 or fill out the online quote form on the website with the details of your move, and the team will follow up.
What counts as a long distance move?
Ox Strong Moving classifies any move of 150 miles or more as a long distance move. Shorter relocations are handled as local moves.
Do you handle student and dorm moves?
Yes. Student moving is one of the core services and covers student hall moves, off campus apartment moves, dorm room moves, and getting belongings home between semesters. Storage is available if you need somewhere to keep things until the next term.
Will you pack for me, or can I pack some of it myself?
Either works. Packing is customizable, so the crew can pack everything or only the items you request, and partial packing is available if you would rather do some of it yourself. Packers arrive with boxes, tape, markers, bubble wrap, packing paper, shrink wrap, foam peanuts, and blankets.
Is there a referral program?
Yes, and at this time it is exclusively for the Gainesville community. Referrers earn $50 for every local move referral and $100 for every long distance move referral, and the friend who books with your link or code receives 5% off.
