With proper pruning practice a tree may not need pruning every year, and can often go two to three years, or in some cases up to five, before it needs pruning again, depending on species, health conditions, and weather. Commercial accounts can use the tree tag ID program, which puts a unique numbered tag on every tree on the property and adds it to a property map with the species name and health condition, followed by a yearly walk with the property manager so only the trees that need pruning go on the work order.
