New patients meet with Dr. Talati for a comprehensive review of their medical and dental history, followed by a clinical examination that includes an oral cancer screening and a full explanation of her findings and recommendations. Unlike many corporate dental offices, Dr. Talati personally explains every recommended procedure and keeps patients fully informed about their treatment, often using an intraoral camera at the initial exam so patients can see the problem and its solution for themselves. She earned her degree in dentistry from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine in 2002, was honored as a U.S. Presidential Scholar upon graduation, has been in private practice since 2006, and accumulates over 50 hours of continuing education each year. The team includes an office manager, two dental hygienists and dental assistants, and the practice says patients can expect a close and personal relationship with the entire dental team. Payment options include cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, a half and half plan, and third party financing through CareCredit subject to credit approval. The office is open Monday through Thursday and serves families and individuals throughout the Treasure Coast area.

What are your office hours?
We are open Monday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The office is closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We offer convenient office hours that allow patients to make appointments that fit with their schedules.
What happens at a first visit?
Dr. Talati meets with new patients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their medical and dental history. That interview is followed by a clinical examination of the mouth, which includes an oral cancer screening and a full explanation of her findings and recommendations. Four forms are available to print and fill out before you arrive: the Notice of Privacy Practices, the Patient Financial Agreement, the New Patient Form and the Medical History Form.

How can I pay for treatment?
We accept cash, checks, Visa and Mastercard, and CareCredit. A pre-payment courtesy of 5 percent is subtracted from the total obligation if the entire treatment plan balance is paid in full, with cash or check, 48 hours before the start of treatment. We also offer a half and half option where you make an initial down payment of 50 percent and then equal payments at each visit over the treatment time, and we will help you process third party financing through CareCredit, subject to credit approval.

Who is Dr. Talati?
Dr. Kamini Talati earned her degree in dentistry from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine in 2002 and was honored as a U.S. Presidential Scholar upon graduation. She has been in private practice since 2006 and has completed advanced training programs in esthetic dentistry, implants and other subjects. She accumulates over 50 hours of continuing education annually and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Association of Women Dentists and the MUSC Alumni Association.
