FAQs
What are your operating hours?

Do you offer emergency service?
Yes. Metrolocks offers emergency service and there is no additional charge for it. You can also schedule a specific appointment time if you need service at a set time.
How much does a lockout cost?
A car lockout and a residential lockout are both a flat rate of $75, made up of a $49 service call and $26 for the labor. A standard commercial door lock is $85, made up of a $49 service call and $36 for the labor.
How quickly can you get to me?
Metrolocks usually has a response time of 10 to 30 minutes, and gives honest estimated times of arrival. You can also set up an appointment if you need the service at a specific time.
Are you bonded and insured?
Yes. Metrolocks is fully bonded and insured and can provide certificates of insurance.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Metrolocks accepts cash, credit, debit and company checks.
Do you have a walk-in shop for key copies?
No. Metrolocks is a mobile locksmith service and does not have a walk-in shop. If you already have a key and simply need it copied, the company recommends going to a Denver walk-in locksmith shop, since a mobile service charges a service call to come out.
Should I rekey my locks when I move into a new home?
You should always consider rekeying the locks when you move to a new residence, because most times you never know who has a copy of the old key. Rekeying fits your existing locks with a new key and is usually a significantly less expensive alternative to replacing them.
