FAQs
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. McGrath Pest Control does not require a pest control contract. Our philosophy is that if you do not like us then do not use us, but that being said we will do everything in our power to provide the best customer service with the best results.
Are the chemicals safe for kids and pets?
Yes. All of our products are EPA registered and safe. They contain no odors and we always stay away from clothes, food and toys. If a customer is still concerned we can alter our services to make them feel more comfortable and safer.
What if I do not want any chemicals sprayed in my home?
That is fine. We can alter or change our normal services to meet any of our customers' needs or desires. We understand that our customers all have different viewpoints about pest control and we will work to make their experience the best possible and still be able to eliminate all their bug issues.
How often should I treat my home?
We usually set up our general pest control services on a quarterly basis, but we can alter or change our services based on our customers' needs and concerns. We let the customer tell us what frequency they are more comfortable with.
How long will it take to get rid of my infestation?
Each house is different. If you keep up with a quarterly service it will be rare that you get any type of infestation. If you wait until you get a bad infestation then it will take longer and cost more money to rid your home of it.
What does a treatment cost?
Our general pest control services are based on the square footage of the home or property. For most of our other services we usually set up consultations to determine the scope of the work and the cost.
What service plans do you offer?
We offer three plans. Basic covers a power spray around the outside perimeter of the home and garage 4 feet up and 4 feet out plus de-webbing of porch areas, with inside spot treatment on request. General adds treatment inside around baseboards, attics and garages. Platinum adds dusting behind sink areas, in attics and around all weep holes, with a perimeter power spray 4 feet up and 10 feet out.
Do you handle wildlife as well as insects?
Yes. Alongside pest control we provide wildlife control and removal, including rodent control, rodent exclusion, live animal trapping and bird deterrent work for animals such as raccoons, squirrels, opossums, skunks, armadillos, bats, gophers, moles and nutrias.
