Magnolia Family Dental is a privately owned dental practice on NW 37th Place in Gainesville, Florida, providing general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry for patients of all ages. The practice has served individuals and families since 1999, and the team describes its approach as gentle and conservative, the same way they would care for members of their own families. Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. We welcome new patients and promise you the same quality dental treatment we have been providing patients in our area since 1999. New patient forms can be downloaded from our website, printed and brought to your first appointment. Call or text us at (352) 373-7361 or request an appointment online.
What happens at my first appointment?
Your first appointment, except in the case of an emergency, includes a comprehensive examination, the necessary x-rays for an accurate diagnosis and a detailed treatment plan. We will walk you through what we find and what we recommend before any treatment begins.
What are your office hours?
We are open Monday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.
Do you take dental insurance?
We accept most PPO plans, including Aetna, Cigna, Eagle Benefit by Design, Shands Preferred, GEHA and Sun Life Financial. Our office does not accept any HMO, Medicare or Medicaid dental plans. If you do not see your plan listed, give us a call at (352) 373-7361 and we will check for you.
What should I do if I have a dental emergency?
Contact our office as soon as you can. Whether it is a sudden toothache, a broken crown or an injured tooth, our Gainesville team is ready to help, and every effort will be made to see you that day or to provide you with the means to stay as comfortable as possible until you can be seen.
Do you offer options for straightening teeth?
Yes. We provide Invisalign, a discreet and comfortable alternative to traditional metal braces that uses a series of custom trays designed for you and the plan your dentist creates to move your teeth.
Can you replace a missing tooth?
Yes. We fit patients for dental implants, crowns and bridges that look and feel natural. A missing tooth can change the shape of your face, cause your other teeth to shift and create problems with chewing and speaking, so we will talk through which option suits your situation.
