FAQs
What is NUCCA upper cervical care?
NUCCA care focuses explicitly on the uppermost neck bones, the C1 and C2, to restore cervical balance. Dr. Brittany Holliday is one of the only NUCCA trained professionals in South Florida specializing in upper cervical care.
What happens at my first visit?
During your first consultation with Dr. Holliday the office will assess your situation and determine if it has something to do with posture concerns. After checking your medical history and completing the initial assessment, the office does a more thorough X-ray scan, including a 3D examination of your neck's structure.
Do you accept insurance?
No. Insurance is not accepted at Lux Lifestyle Chiropractic. The office accepts cash, credit cards and debit cards, and CareCredit provides financing for healthcare treatments with flexible terms.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. New patients can request a free consultation. You can call the office, use the Book Now button on the website, or complete the online intake form, and the staff will follow up to confirm details and help schedule an appointment.
What conditions do you treat?
The practice treats scoliosis, fibromyalgia, headaches, pinched nerve, sciatica, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, herniated or bulging discs, and back and neck pain.
What is the DRX-9000 and does it hurt?
The DRX-9000 is a spinal decompression table that gently pulls, holds and releases the spine in repeating specialized cycles, creating negative intradiscal pressure that reduces pressure within the spinal discs. The office describes it as a pleasant and relaxing experience, with some patients napping during a session.
Do you offer appointments outside standard office hours?
Tuesday and Thursday hours run from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and the office is also open Saturday mornings from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The office is closed Friday and Sunday.
Will I need surgery or injections?
Lux Lifestyle Chiropractic provides non-surgical and non-invasive treatments, and states that its treatment protocols treat the source of your pain without surgery, injections or having to take major time off of work.
