Midpoint Chiropractic Center
Midpoint Chiropractic Center is a chiropractic office on Del Prado Blvd S in Cape Coral, Florida, caring for patients who are looking for relief from long standing pain, for a way to get past the aches and soreness of everyday life, or for better overall health and stamina. The practice credits its success to two things: concern for patients' well being and individualized treatment. Care is delivered without drugs or surgery, with the goal of retraining the body to take care of itself. The office uses a whole range of treatments including chiropractic adjusting techniques, spinal decompression therapy, physiotherapies, diet guidance, ergonomic assessments and home exercise programs, and it treats a broad list of problems that includes sports injuries, injuries from auto accidents, whiplash related disorder, work injuries, headaches, back pain, hip and knee injuries, muscle sprains and strains, decreased range of motion, pre and post surgical conditions, general family health and wellness care. Chiropractic adjustment here means specific spinal manipulation that gently moves the involved joint toward the restricted area to create mobility and encourage healing. Spinal decompression is delivered on a Triton DTS system that handles lumbar, cervical and extremity traction in a variety of positions, with sessions of roughly 20 to 30 minutes and a typical course of 20 treatments over about six weeks, and the office notes that many patients feel relief after only a few sessions. Physiotherapy options include ultrasound, interferential current therapy and intersegmental traction, and the office also uses a Quantum Cold Laser cleared for adjunctive use in the temporary relief of hand and wrist pain associated with carpal tunnel syndrome and for temporary relief of minor muscle and joint pain, arthritis and muscle spasm. Whole body vibration training on a vibrating platform is offered as a neuromuscular method for building muscular strength and power. Auto accident and whiplash care is a particular focus, and the office explains that whiplash symptoms often do not appear for 24 hours or longer, which is why it encourages patients to be seen as soon as possible after a collision. Care is provided by Dr. Eric Harter, a chiropractic physician who graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida in 2011 and has practiced in Southwest Florida since then, and who came to the profession after chiropractic care resolved years of his own migraine headaches. The office welcomes new patients, is now accepting Medicare Part B, keeps morning and afternoon hours Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, afternoon hours Wednesday and morning hours Friday, and takes appointment requests by phone at (239) 542-7000 or through the request form on its website.
