What happens on my first visit?
You complete patient forms that give the office your health history and information on your condition, and you bring a photo ID. Next comes a consultation with Dr. Lancaster about your health related problems, concerns and treatment options, then a complete chiropractic examination testing your reflexes and flexibility plus standard neurological, orthopedic, postural and physical tests. Dr. Lancaster then gives you a detailed report of findings and recommendations. Nothing is done in the office without your consent.
Are X-rays taken at the office?
Depending on your specific condition the office may request X-rays, but X-rays are not done in office and will be outsourced. You will be required to bring in your images or submit to have X-rays released to the office. The practice uses them to help develop an effective treatment plan and to check for any serious spinal conditions.
Do you accept insurance?
The office accepts Medicare if Medicare is your primary insurance, and accepts Medpay for automobile accident care. It does not accept third party automobile accident claims. If Medicare is not your primary insurance, the office can provide a fee slip for you to submit to your insurance company so they can reimburse you for whatever they cover or apply it toward your deductible.
