Working with Asad Naeem, has been such a wonderful experience. Thank you for all the hardworking and assisting us when we really needed someone to assist us through this time in our lives. I would recommended everyone to choose him and Khan Law firm to represent them. The experience with your Khan law firm has been the best that we have had. We don't have to worry about constantly needing to call every single month to get an update from our previous lawyer we had appointed. You guys have made this process so much easier than it could've ever been. The other law firm would take more than a month and sometimes we wouldn't even hear back from them and instead the daughter would have to call them multiple times to get a hold of them. The process with the other firm was not exactly something anybody would want to experience. We are glad to have made a choice to choose Khan law firm to represent us.

Ayat was very helpful. She made sure to assure me of any stress and they took everything off my hands while they kept me in the know about what i need to do. Even though my case is still on going and will be transferred to another person, I hope she gets the recognition she deserves!

Had me sign a contract, had to get the police reports myself, had to do the evidence chain myself, and then three months later they canceled the contract with no reason. Then threatened me if I left an honest review of my experience. Absolutely avoid at all cost, they never called me once, I had to call over and over asking what was happening to which they asked ME to get the reports. No contact, no nothing, if you look up what to avoid with injury lawyers, it should come up with an image of king khan. Absolutely a con

Jennifer did a great job with my case and even helped me get a very nice settlement. She was very responsive and very attentive with my case. She always finds time to discuss my case with me and answer all my questions. She’s simply the best and I really didn’t do anything and just wait for my settlement. Definitely will recommend Jennifer Puckett of Khan Law Firm! Thank you so much Jen!

FAQs

What if I’m partially at fault for an accident?
Washington operates under a ‘comparative fault’ or ‘comparative negligence’ understanding of the law, which means that multiple parties can share the blame for causing an accident. This extends to and beyond the injured accident victims themselves. If you are determined to share approximately 20% of the fault for the accident, then that percentage will be subtracted from the overall settlement you recover from other at-fault parties.
What is the statute of limitations for personal injury claims in Washington State?
If you’ve been injured because of the negligent actions of another party, you have three years to consider filing a personal injury claim. If you have not filed your claim at any point in the three-year window after the accident, you may forever lose your opportunity to recover compensation for your injuries. (Note: if a government entity was responsible for your injury, the statute of limitations is considerably shorter, so act ASAP.)
What if I’ve only suffered minor injuries in a car accident?
Even if your injuries are minor or near nonexistent, it may still be worth speaking with a personal injury attorney. It is important not to tell other drivers in the accident that you are “fine” or that you apologize for your part in the accident, as both of these sentiments could be used against you if you ever plan to file a personal injury lawsuit. Also, some injuries do not fully manifest until later on, so best to keep how you feel between yourself and your doctor.
Does Washington have a “one bite” rule for dog bites?
No. Even if the dog has no history of aggression or bites, the dog owner is seen as having strict liability for any attacks. Suppose the dog does have a history of bites. In that case, the dog owner must register it as a dangerous dog and take extra precautionary measures to protect the public or risk having the dog seized from their possession.
What should I do immediately after suffering an injury?
If you are able, try documenting your injuries with photographs. Seek emergency medical aid. Write down how the accident transpired — this memory will fade and be altered by other witness testimonies, so don’t wait too long to write everything. Then, compile a list of witnesses. Finally, contact an experienced attorney.
Can I file a lawsuit without an attorney?
You do not need to hire a lawyer. However, professional legal counsel can dramatically improve your chances of reaching a satisfactory settlement at the end of your case. Please consider the attorneys of Khan Injury Law.
