Can you quote a job from a photo I send you?
No. Pictures do not always tell the whole story. We need to consider how accessible the tree is, whether it overhangs a roof, whether power lines are nearby, how much hardscape or personal property is in proximity, whether large equipment can reach the tree, and how tall it is, so that you get a fair and complete quotation for the entire scope of the project.
How soon can work begin after I approve my quotation?
Our typical practice is first come first serve. In the seasonal slower months, jobs can get scheduled within 1 to 2 weeks. During the busy part of our season, jobs can take up to 3 weeks to get on the schedule. HOA requirements, street sweeping days, and permit requirements can also affect scheduling.
Is there a wrong time of year to prune my trees?
Most trees can be pruned anytime during the year, but there are exceptions. Certain Oak trees should only be pruned in the hotter summer months or in winter when they have gone dormant. Pine trees are typically trimmed only in the colder months of winter to prevent the risk of beetle infestation or stress to the tree.
What payment methods do you accept?
Kerry's Tree Service takes cash, check, and most credit cards. Cash or checks can be given to the project crew leader at the end of the job, and credit card payments can be called into the office or paid through a link on an emailed invoice.
