Kemly Electric is a family owned and operated electrical company that has served Seattle since 1991. Founded by Brian and Kathleen Kemly and now run by their sons, Adam and Chris Kemly, the company works out of the Ballard neighborhood and serves Seattle and the Puget Sound region. The team handles residential and commercial work, from new installations, rewiring upgrades and service panel repairs to EV charger installation, smart panels and generator backup systems. All of its electricians are licensed, bonded and insured, work is covered by a one-year warranty on parts and labor, and free estimates are available.

Are you licensed and insured?

Do you charge for estimates?
No. You can request a free estimate, and we will give you a detailed, timely estimate on your project.
Do you warranty your work?
Yes. We offer a one-year warranty on parts and labor, so the work we complete is covered after we leave.
Do you work on homes as well as businesses?
Yes. We handle residential work such as remodels, rewiring and service repairs, and commercial work including office and retail projects, tenant improvements, design build and electrical construction.
Can you install an EV charger?
Yes. We install Level 2 EV chargers for Tesla, ChargePoint, Enel X and other top brands at homes, and we design and install commercial and shared EV charging stations for properties throughout Seattle and the Puget Sound region. We also install smart electrical panels and whole-home generator backup systems.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We have an arrangement with GreenSky Financing and can offer financing options on projects exceeding $5,000, subject to credit approval.
