In Motion Family Chiropractic is a family-owned and operated chiropractic office at 8941 N Harlan St in Westminster, run by Dr. Michelle Withington and Dr. Nicholas Venturini. Dr. Michelle established the practice in 2019 after finishing her internship in Colorado, and Dr. Nicholas opened a separate clinic, Spinal Solutions, at the same time. The two married in 2022 and merged their practices under In Motion Family Chiropractic. Both earned their Doctorate degrees in Chiropractic at Logan University, and both have been providing care to the Westminster and Arvada community and surrounding areas since 2019. The office believes the body has the natural ability to heal itself and treats the body as a whole by addressing health through holistic measures. Its main focus is the subluxation, a slight misalignment of the vertebrae, and restoring movement in the spine to better increase the function of the nervous system. Treatment is based on each individualized finding from the first patient exam. That exam includes detail-oriented testing to understand a patient's wants and needs, followed by a review of the results and recommendations that becomes a unique care plan. Techniques used at the office include Diversified, Activator, Webster, Thompson Drop, Cox-Flexion Distraction, and Logan Basic Technique. Dr. Michelle specializes in auto accidents, DOT/CDL physicals, and family wellness, holds certifications in the Webster Technique and Logan Pediatrics, and rates Advanced Proficiency on the Activator Technique. Dr. Nicholas specializes in the musculoskeletal system, auto accidents, DOT/CDL physicals, and sports injury and prevention, holds a master's degree in sports rehabilitation, and is trained in Active Release Technique, Trigger Point Dry Needling, Clinical Nutrition, Motion Palpation, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, and Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. Both doctors are members of the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Services cover chiropractic adjustments, prenatal and pediatric care, auto accident injury care, spinal decompression therapy, massage therapy, dry needling, myofascial release, DOT and CDL physicals, Uber and Lyft pre-employment physicals, and DOT and non-DOT drug testing. The office is in-network with most major medical plans, accepts all automobile insurances following a car accident, and offers cash rates for patients without health insurance benefits.

Why choose us?
Family-owned by two chiropractors
In Motion Family Chiropractic is family-owned and operated by Dr. Michelle Withington and Dr. Nicholas Venturini. Dr. Michelle founded the practice in 2019, Dr. Nicholas ran a separate clinic, and in 2022 the two married and merged their practices under one roof.
A care plan built from your own exam
Treatment is based on each individualized finding from the first patient exam. The office provides detail-oriented testing to understand your wants and needs, then reviews the results and recommendations with you to create a unique care plan.
Webster certified for pregnancy care
Dr. Michelle and Dr. Nick are certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in the Webster technique, which provides a full body adjustment with a more thorough treatment on the pelvis and the muscles and ligaments attached to it.
Gentle care for the youngest patients
Pediatric treatment does not look like adult treatment. There is no popping and twisting. The doctors use very light finger pressure, similar to how you would check the ripeness of a fruit, and children can be treated as soon as you feel comfortable bringing them in.
Muscle work alongside your adjustment
The office pairs joint care with soft tissue care, offering massage therapy in Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, trigger point, cranial sacral, sports, and lymphatic drainage styles, plus trigger point dry needling and myofascial release.
Certified medical examiners on staff
DOT and CDL physicals are performed by members of the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Regulations. The office also handles Uber and Lyft pre-employment physicals and DOT and non-DOT drug testing.
The office lists neck pain, headaches, migraines, numbness and tingling in the hands and feet, pain between the shoulder blades, pinched nerves, sciatica, pregnancy discomfort and pain, tennis and golfer's elbow, knee and foot pain, and muscle tightness among the signals that it may be time to see a chiropractor. Everyday activities including stress, nutrition, exercise, and work cause misalignments called subluxations, and the doctors look for those in your spine and other joints.
What happens on a first visit?
The approach to treatment is based on each individualized finding from the first patient exam. During the exam the office provides detail-oriented testing to understand what your wants and needs are. After the exam the doctors go over the results and recommendations on the best treatment options for you, which forms a unique care plan.
Do you treat pregnant patients and children?
Yes. Chiropractic can help alleviate the pain of pregnancy and even help with an easier and safer birth, and Dr. Michelle and Dr. Nick are certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in the Webster technique. For children there is no popping and twisting. The doctors use very light finger pressure and hold the area being worked on, a very gentle technique that is safe for even the youngest kiddos.
Do you take insurance?
In Motion Family Chiropractic is in-network with most major medical plans, including UnitedHealthcare, UMR, UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage Plan, Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield Medicare Advantage Plan, and Medicare. Call the office to verify your eligibility and benefits. The office also offers affordable cash rates for patients who do not have health insurance benefits and for those with benefits outside of its network.
I was in a car accident. Can you help?
Yes. The office accepts all automobile insurances, meaning medical coverage or medpay, following a car accident. That coverage is offered to every person in the accident regardless of who is at fault or driving, does not cost anything to use, and does not raise your deductible. If you do not have medical coverage on your plan, the office works with local attorneys so you can still receive care. Tissue injuries in the spine can occur even when there is no pain present, so getting checked helps prevent future pain and scar tissue.
What is spinal decompression therapy?
Spinal decompression is a non-invasive treatment for people who suffer from neck and back pain. It uses traction to relieve pressure on the spine and nerves. The decompression table distracts the intervertebral discs, creating a pressure change that allows nutrients back into disc bulges and herniations so they can heal. It can help with bulging and herniated discs, facet syndrome, shooting pain and radiculopathy, sciatica, spinal stenosis, failed back surgery, degenerative disc disease and arthritis, numbness and tingling, and ongoing pain that is not responding to other spinal treatments.
Do you offer DOT physicals and drug testing?
Yes. A DOT or CDL physical is a medical exam performed only by members of the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners, and it is valid for up to 2 years from the date of the exam. The exam covers blood pressure, eye exam, urinalysis, cardio check, lung check, abdominal check, and reflexes, and it is not exclusive to semi-drivers. Certain medications and health conditions require medical releases beforehand, so call the office before scheduling. Drug testing is not a required part of the DOT physical, but the office offers DOT and non-DOT drug testing, a full-service DOT certified consortium, MRO services, and pre-employment, post accident, random, and follow up testing. Call for pricing. Uber and Lyft pre-employment physicals are also available.
