The shop keeps a 5,000 square foot safe showroom and sends certified locksmiths across greater Houston for lockouts, rekeying, lock installation and repair, master key systems, access control, security cameras, and automotive key and fob work. It is licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety, bonded and insured, and is an authorized AMSEC and Liberty dealer. How long have you been in business?
Houston Safe and Lock opened its first Houston storefront in 1923 and has been run by the same family for three generations since. A second showroom, King Safe and Lock on the Katy Freeway, joined the family in the 1990s.

Can you move a safe I already own?
Yes. Safe moving is one of our specialties, whether it is across the room, across town or into a new build. We handle safes up to commercial vault weight with the right equipment and insurance, within about 100 miles of Houston.
Will you damage my lock getting me back inside?
In most cases no. Our technicians use non destructive entry and pick rather than drill wherever possible, so you are back inside without paying for replacement hardware.
What does white glove safe delivery include?
Our in-house crew brings the safe inside your home or business, upstairs or down, places it where you want it, bolts it to the floor or wall, programs the lock, walks you through it and hauls away the packaging.

Yes. Houston Safe and Lock is the only authorized Medeco and Mul-T-Lock service center in Houston, and also handles smart locks, master key systems, access control, security cameras and alarm systems.
