Storm & hail damage repairs

As insurance specialists, we work directly with your insurance company to handle storm damage and get your roof back to its best condition.

Having severe hail damage and the added complication of having to go through a historic review before deciding of roofing materials, we cannot compliment Horn Brothers enough. They were knowledgeable and patient. Everyone from the beginning of the project through the end was excellent.

If you need roof repairs after the next hail storm, I would recommend Horn Bros Roofing without reservation! After the last major hailstorm, roofing companies swarmed our neighborhood like hungry vultures circling prey -- but Horn Bros Roofing wasn't one of them.

Horn Brothers recently replaced my roof in Conifer, as well as my mother’s roof and my aunt’s roof in Morrison. Excellent work all around, done on time and without any hassles! High quality stone-coated metal was used to protect from potential hailstorms. We are extremely happy with the results…!😃

Adam D Acevedo

Recently replaced my roof with a stone coated steel shingles as well as a new gutter system through Horn Brothers Roofing (HBR) and couldn't be happier. Love how it looks and the experience I had with HBR. Everyone I dealt with was super professional and did what they said they would do.

Michael Robben

Horn Brothers replaced our hail damaged roof and gutters on our home in Cherry Creek North. In one word, the best! Chris was our contact and provided both an estimate and timeline with start and completion dates-both were hit with military precision.

Tod Linstroth

I recently had a new stone coated metal roof installed by Horn Brothers Roofing and had a great experience! They are very experienced with the installation of this kind of roof. Humberto Cruz was my supervisor and he did an excellent job! He delivered on everything he promised!

Giselle McDonough

Horn Brothers was great to work with. They explained options well and got us the exact roof we wanted. The metal roof looks great and we get lots of compliments on it. The new roof also cut my homeowners insurance in half!

Horn Brothers Roofing has been servicing my home and multi-family buildings for over 2 decades now. I have always worked with Chris and can call him anytime with my roofing questions.

Mark Lauriha

I couldn't be happier with their service and the work they did. Josue was the representative I worked with directly, and I was pleased with the entire process from start to finish. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Sergey Pshichenko

We bought a house that Horn Brothers Roofing installed a roof on, and they have been great to work with even though we weren't the original buyers of the roof. They provided info for our insurance during the home buying process, have inspected the roof after hailstorms, and recently fixed an issue.

Frequently asked questions

Does your company pay or help with Insurance deductibles?
No. According to Senate Bill 38, it is illegal for a contractor to pay a customer’s deductible. Allowing a contractor to pay your deductible is considered insurance fraud.
Should I repair or replace my existing roof?
If your roof is near or over its estimated life expectancy, it will likely need to be replaced. If your roof has extensive damage, whether from hail or severe weather, replacing the entire roof is the best option. A few missing or damaged shingles in one area can be easily repaired with a minor fix.
Is it essential to have attic ventilation?
Proper attic and roof ventilation helps regulate temperature and humidity, preventing mold growth and premature aging. It also contributes to energy efficiency by reducing the strain on your HVAC system.
Should I install a Class 4 material?
Class 4 IR products perform better in hail. Most insurance companies provide discounts for Class 4 IR products on annual homeowner insurance policies.
What is Class 4 IR?
Class 4 Impact Resistant Roofing Materials. Highest rating for roofing materials.
How often should I clean my gutters?
Too much debris in your gutters can plug up the drainage and cause damage to your fascia, ice damming, and premature aging of your gutters and downspouts. Typically, gutters should be cleaned at least once a year in the fall, after the leaves have fallen from the trees.
What do ACV and RCV mean on my insurance adjuster's summary?
ACV means “actual cash value”, or what your roof is worth considering its age. RCV means “recoverable cash value”, or what it should cost to replace. If you have an RCV policy, you will receive the recoverable amount minus your deductible once the repairs are completed.
Is venting my roof important?
Yes. Hot attics affect the longevity of any roofing material and increase your utility bills. Horn Brothers evaluates all the roofs we install for proper venting. We will discuss the options and the associated costs with you.
Is there a hail-proof roofing material?
No. Although there are impact-resistant products on the market. Horn Brothers installs roofing products in various materials and styles. Contact us for more information.
Will you provide me with a written estimate?
Yes, we will provide you with a complete estimate with a description of work plus the products selected for your project.
Do you check for adequate ventilation?
Yes, we do a detailed analysis of your attic ventilation. We inspect the attic and perform a Net Free Area calculation to ensure you have a balanced system based on your attic floor space.
Can you provide references?
We would be more than happy to provide similar project references and contact information.
What are your payment terms?
Generally, 10% down, 40% on material delivery, 50% due at completion after a walk through with the Job Supervisor.
Can you Install Solar on a stone-coated steel?
Yes, please get in touch with Horn Brothers Roofing to find select Solar Companies that have the expertise for the product and the necessary skills for installation.
What is SB38?
It is a Senate bill passed to lay out Homeowners’ rights and hold contractors accountable for fraudulent practices.
