Free nitrous oxide for every patient

HR Family Dental offers all of its patients free nitrous oxide to ensure a comfortable visit, and the same relaxation gas is used during implant placement to keep discomfort minimal.

Two decades of dentistry from Dr. Lunn

Dr. George Lunn has practiced for twenty years since earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee, with continued training across all phases of general dentistry plus extensive training in cosmetic dentistry, implant surgery, orthodontics, and complex cases.

Digitally guided implant placement

Implant treatment starts with a 3D scan and digital scan of the mouth, then implant planning software sets the exact position, angle, and depth of each implant, and a custom 3D printed surgical stent guides placement for a secure, natural fit.

Long tenured hygiene team

Deborah White has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1994 and Barbara Stafford has been a hygienist for over 34 years, so routine cleanings are handled by clinicians with decades of chairside experience.

FAQs

Where is Highlands Ranch Family Dental located?
The office is at 3626 E Highlands Ranch Parkway, Ste. 107, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126. It sits on the backside of the Key Bank area and is easy to reach from Fairview and Weybridge, near Valor.
What are your office hours?
The practice is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9 am to 7 pm. It is closed Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Call (303) 346-4495 to schedule a visit.
Do you accept dental insurance?
Yes. HR Family Dental accepts most PPO dental insurance plans and will file with your insurance company for you. Listed plans include Aetna, Assurant, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, DeCare Dental, Delta Dental, Dental Wellness Partners, Guardian, Humana, MetLife, United Concordia, and United Healthcare. Call the office with questions about your specific benefits and coverage.
What if I do not have dental insurance?
No insurance is no problem. The practice offers CareCredit financing so you can spread the cost of treatment. Call the office to talk through your options before you book.
How do you keep nervous patients comfortable?
HR Family Dental offers all of its patients free nitrous oxide to ensure a comfortable visit. Nitrous oxide is also used for relaxation during implant placement, and hygienists can apply numbing gels to the gums for a more comfortable cleaning.
How does the dental implant process work?
Dr. Lunn begins with a 3D scan and digital scan of your mouth, plans the position, angle, and depth of each implant with specialized software, and uses a custom 3D printed surgical stent to guide placement. The titanium implant is then placed in the jawbone, followed by a 3 to 6 month healing period for osseointegration and a final custom crown, bridge, or denture. The full process typically spans 3 to 12 months.
How often should I have my teeth cleaned?
The American Dental Association strongly recommends at minimum a professional dental cleaning every six months. During a cleaning visit the hygienist reviews your medical history, may take a digital X-ray series, removes plaque and tartar with a gentle scaler, and polishes your teeth, and then Dr. Lunn completes a comprehensive examination.
Do you offer clear aligners instead of braces?
Yes. The practice offers Bioliner Plus, a clear dental aligner similar to Invisalign that provides a more economical alternative. Ultra thin veneers, crowns and bridges, and full mouth reconstruction are also available for cosmetic and restorative cases.
