Today was my first visit to Highlands Automotive, and it was such a positive experience. While I waited for my inspection, I was genuinely impressed by how thoughtfully every customer was treated. The staff showed kindness, patience, and care to everyone who came through the door — especially those who arrived unexpectedly with urgent car trouble. It was clear they truly value their customers and go out of their way to help.

We ran into car trouble on our trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains and needed a tow. The tow truck driver highly recommended Highlands Automotive and Jon and his team were amazing to work with. Since we were from out of town and only had two days left on our trip they looked at our car right away and were able to get the car fixed for our long drive home. They explained everything that was going on with the car and presented multiple options all of which were clearly explained. It became clear that not only did they really know cars but Jon, Tiera and Shane were just great people who cared deeply about solving our issues. The cost was extremely reasonable and they even gave us names of local drivers who could get us back and forth from our resort and the shop. No one wants car problems but if you encounter them in the Cashiers area bring your car to Highlands Automotive and you will be very well taken care of.

Did a great job with my Tesla. Had to remove all wheels and used spacers for jacking and hand torqued the lug nuts when mounting. Took great care.

I had a flat tire on my way out of town and being my luck the tire couldn’t be patched . It was also a hard to find tire . Jamie and Jon both worked tirelessly to find the tire so that I could get back on the road . We finally had to order the tire to be there the following morning. Jamie took me to my home in Highland’s and planned to pick me up the following morning . With all that was going on , I left my cell phone in her car . Ugh !!! Later that afternoon , Jamie spotted my phone and brought it back up the mountain to me . The service and kindness that Highland’s Automotive showed me during my time of need went above and beyond . I can’t thank everyone there enough for their excellent care !!

When you're having problems with your car, you want knowledge and experience on your side when dealing with those problems. At Highlands, it's not just these qualities that sets them apart, it's the people. While visiting the area from out of state, we started having issues with our car. Everyone at Highlands were incredible. They took time to work us in, took care of the problem, and had us on our way in no time. We couldn't have asked for a better overall experience.

FAQs

How often should I service my Audi?
It is generally recommended that a car be serviced after every 10,000 miles or once a year but this also depends on the kind of usage the car is subjected to.
Why is routine oil change important for your Audi?
Oil changes help to maintain the level of the oil in your engine and ensure smooth running of the mechanical parts but when the level is low or the oil is dirty, it contributes to the wearing out of the engine parts. Making sure your Audi follows the recommended oil change interval keeps the engine in good shape and gives you the best performance.
Why Come to us for Tesla Repairs?
Electric cars like Teslas can only be serviced by employees who have proper knowledge of electric cars. Our team at Highlands Automotive understands Tesla cars’ battery management, regenerative braking system, and autopilot system. Of course, there are numerous reasons why people decide to buy a Tesla; however, all of them expect top-tier quality when visiting a service center. Whether keeping your car in good condition through regular check-ups or running more detailed diagnostic analysis, you can rest assured that your Tesla will be treated like our own.
How long do Tesla batteries last?
Tesla batteries are built to withstand hundreds of thousands of miles on the road. They are usually known to last more than 200,000 miles. A battery should be diagnosed as often as possible, and if this is done with care, battery performance, and longevity will be boosted in the long run.
Do you service all import brands, including luxury models?
Servicing a wide range of import vehicles, including Lexus, Infiniti, and Nissan, we are happy to take on even the most high-performance models with acuity.
