Every team member is a background-checked employee on payroll rather than an independent contractor, the company carries liability insurance and bond, and cleanings follow a 100-point cleaning checklist backed by a satisfaction guarantee. Regular service areas are inside I-285, with limited availability in Roswell, Marietta, Alpharetta and College Park, and service outside I-285 available for an additional travel fee. Do I have to be home during a cleaning visit?
No. You do not need to be home, although you are welcome to be. Many clients provide keys and alarm codes, and The Atlanta Cleaning Source states that it always keeps your keys and access information extremely secure.
Are you insured and bonded?
Yes. The Atlanta Cleaning Source carries liability insurance and bond, and states that all of its employees are fully insured. If an item is damaged or missing, the company will promptly make every effort to have it repaired or replaced.
Do you background check your cleaners?
Yes. All team members undergo background checks, and the hiring and training process is focused on safety and teamwork.
Are your cleaners employees or contractors?
Every team member is an employee, not an independent contractor. All are on payroll with federal, state and social security taxes and workers' compensation, which protects you from liability if an employee is injured in your home.
Do you bring your own cleaning products?
Yes. The Atlanta Cleaning Source uses all its own cleaning products and equipment, using green cleaners whenever possible including Method, Seventh Generation, Bona, Greenworks and Dr. Bronner's. You are welcome to have the team use your own products instead if you prefer.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. There are no contracts to sign. The company states it is happy to earn your business each time it cleans.
How do I pay for my cleaning?
Payment is due the day the service is performed. Regular clients often leave a check, and credit card payment is available as an option. One-time cleanings require credit card payment.
What areas do you clean?
Regular service areas are inside I-285, covering neighborhoods such as Inman Park, Grant Park, Candler Park, Virginia Highland, Midtown, Downtown, East Atlanta, Kirkwood, Decatur, Buckhead, Brookhaven and Sandy Springs. Roswell, Marietta, Alpharetta and College Park have limited availability, and service outside I-285 is available for an additional travel fee.
