GoodSmiles Dental Care is a general and cosmetic dental practice on Remington Green Circle in Tallahassee, Florida, with three dentists on staff: Dr. Pamala Good, Dr. C. Shane Roane and Dr. Joseph Gigante. The practice covers preventive care with twice yearly checkups and professional cleanings, oral exams and oral cancer screening, periodontal treatment, fillings, extractions, dentures, bridges and implant dentistry, plus emergency treatment for toothaches, dental trauma, abscesses, problematic wisdom teeth and broken or lost restorations. Cosmetic work includes porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, Invisalign clear aligners and CEREC single visit crowns, and the office also offers facial cosmetic services such as Botox, DermaFuse and Viora V30. Treatment is supported by digital x-rays and 3D cone beam imaging, laser dentistry and in office CAD/CAM restorations that are often completed in a single visit. Children receive age appropriate care including topical fluoride treatments and dental sealants. The office accepts most major PPO insurance plans and offers low interest financing through CareCredit and Cherry.

Do you see patients for dental emergencies?
Yes. Emergency appointments are always available at our office. We treat toothaches, chipped or fractured teeth, abscesses, loose or broken fillings, dislodged crowns, broken or lost dentures, problematic wisdom teeth and swollen or bleeding gums. Call us and our team will respond to your emergency call right away.
What are your office hours?
Our published Google hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We are closed Saturday and Sunday. Please call the office at (850) 383-4455 to confirm Friday availability.
Which insurance plans do you accept?
We accept most major PPO insurance plans, including Aetna, Ameritas, BCBS of Florida, Cigna, Delta Dental, Humana, Florida Combined Life, MetLife, Principal, The Standard, United Concordia and United Healthcare. Our office does not accept HMO plans, Medicare or Medicaid.
What payment options do you offer?
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover credit cards as well as cash and personal checks. We also offer low interest financing through CareCredit and Cherry, and our billing coordinator is happy to discuss any insurance or billing questions.
How do I schedule my first visit?
You can call the office or request an appointment online. New patients have a dedicated line at (850) 848-5277, and existing patients can call or text (850) 383-4455. Please bring your insurance card and a photo ID to your first appointment.
What happens at a first appointment?
Your first visit is your chance to get to know the practice, see our facility and meet the office team. We discuss your dental concerns, collect your health history and background information, and perform a clinical exam to establish a baseline for care. Once we have any diagnostic images, we explain whether treatment is needed and go through your options.
Do you treat children?
Yes. We help children establish a strong foundation for lifelong oral health with age appropriate instruction, and we offer periodic topical fluoride treatments and dental sealants for added protection against childhood tooth decay.
